2nd visit during lunch hour. Customer service, taste of food, and wait time GREAT every visit. Our family is used to Juarez style Mexican food and rarely eat enchiladas as most restaurants in Central TX serve Tex Mex sauce. The chilaquiles and flautas here are TERRIFIC. Red chile not spicy but flavor was grrrrreat! Chicken in flautas is well seasoned. Recommend red salsa if you can tolerate high heat spice level. We will definitely be regulars here.

The pastries here are absolutely delicious! Everything is fresh, soft, and full of authentic flavor—you can really tell the care that goes into baking. The conchas stand out as some of the best I’ve had in a long time. When you walk in, the smell alone makes you want to take home a whole box.

There can be a bit of a wait since they usually only have one person running the bakery checkout, but honestly, it’s worth every minute once you get your pastries. Even with the line, the staff is friendly and welcoming, and they make sure you leave happy.

I haven’t had a chance to try the restaurant side yet, but if it’s anything like the bakery, I know it’s going to be amazing. For now, the pastries alone make this place a five-star spot and a new favorite in town.

Update for breakfast plate. The Migas are awesome here. The plate comes with potatoes and beans and tortillas and it was worth it. Very good. I can speak on the migas.

Update: Food continues to be delicious and they have more staff. Yes it’s a young staff, love the community vibes.

5 Star on their food and bread, great taste. Their staff was friendly, and hiccup is they seem to be little short staff on the restaurant side. BUT I give them 5 star because the staff was attentive when helping us. Did best with the rush they had when we arrived. Cute set up they have, look forward to them growing.

Just found this place and I’m in love. The selection of sweet bread is so varied and exciting. They have custom cakes and ready to purchase cakes as well. The restaurant menu is also extensive with lots of options for good food. Fanny was so helpful with selecting the best options for my cravings.

This was our second time visiting, as we wanted to give this place another chance. Unfortunately, the experience was very similar to our first visit.

Both times, the food arrived cold—from the queso we ordered first to our main plates. My husband ordered the entomatadas again, and just like last time, the salsa lacked flavor and everything was cold, which really ruined the dish. I previously ordered chilaquiles verdes and had the same experience: cold salsa and very little flavor.

Service was also disappointing. The waiter was not very friendly, and while I understand it was right after New Year’s, our first visit was the same way. We asked for a high chair about three times and never received it—my husband eventually had to get up and find one himself. We also never received napkins or water refills; the server only returned to bring the check.

Additionally, the cashier at the bakery was not helpful and came across as unwelcoming.

This review is not written with bad intentions. I truly want to support small businesses, and I believe this place has a lot of potential to be a great spot to eat and enjoy the atmosphere. A few improvements—hot, flavorful food, more attentive and friendly service—would make a big difference.

I hope this feedback is taken as constructive, because I really believe this place could be amazing with a few changes.
