This All-star Seafood is a hidden gem Today was my first time here and I ordered the 2 piece flounder plate & substitute my Fries for fried okra & I’m glad I came here food was delicious! I’ll most definitely be back to try some more food items & Thanks to the chef lady in the kitchen she blessed me with a extra piece of flounder now that’s luv!

The fried perch and fries were good. Service was just okay; counter server was on his phone and seemed anxious to get me taken care of so that he could get back to it. For me, good fish includes good tarter sauce. For the price of a plate, Allstar Seafood should upgrade to pre-packaged better quality tartar sauce like Ken’s. I wouldn’t know how their house-made tartar sauce is, however, because the worker put blue cheese in my order and not tartar sauce (probably because he was on his phone and not paying attention), which was disappointing. I’d go back, but check my order before leaving.

I got the blue crab burger and my boyfriend got the Carolina tango wings (he asked for extra crispy). We both got the blueberry drink (We were going to get the pineapple ginger, but we asked to sample the drinks. We liked both, but really liked the blueberry.) The food is delicious. The service was good. We will be going back to try some of their other menu options.

Let’s start and end at WHERE IS THE SEASONING? Salt and pepper didn’t even help. This is horrible. I was excited to try a black owned business that advertised Louisiana food. Well I’m from Louisiana and I wasn’t impressed AT ALL!!!! Not only is the food nasty their service with handling food was unprofessional. Guy came from outside and immediately started handling food with no gloves. We kindly asked him to wash his hands and he finally did. I DO NOT PLAN ON GOING BACK

The cashiers are polite and the menu has a lot of variety. The mac and cheese the best thing I’ve had on the menu so far, and it shows because it’s sold almost every time I come there! Second place goes to the fries. They’re catfish and shrimp is pretty good too. You got you a regular for sure. Gonna try more of the menu every time I come. Just make sure y’all double up on that mac and cheese because that’s gonna be gone in no time.

I ordered the 5-piece catfish meal with fries and a drink and a side of cajun corn on the con for $33. The fish could’ve been fried crispier, and a different batter used on the fish. They forgot to give me my drink, but I called and spoke with the lady and she told me just to let them know the next time I come in. Otherwise, the food was okay and I will give them another try. Next time I will just request my fish fried crispier.

i see many restaurants with a similar menu where everything is pasted above the order window, but it was very overwhelming. there’s a smaller menu pasted at the window that they directed us to which helped a bit.
after ordering our food, the employee didn’t appear to be well versed on the menu and options, and forgot to ask us which seasonings we wanted on our food. after receiving our food, i could tell immediately that the shrimp was overcooked, and everything was simply boiled in water. the seasoning was thrown atop after the fact which left most of it tastless.
if you’re someone who enjoys flavorful seafood where you can taste the seasoning inside the shelfish, and you don’t have to drench everything in garlic butter to help with the blandness, this place may not be for you.
