This is the restaurant inside of the Sequoyah Lodge in the state park. They have a decent menu of burgers, sandwiches, salads, and appetizers.
The food was solid!! The whole lodge has a “camping in the 70’s” vibe with curved walls and stuff dangling from the ceiling. Really neat place tucked away in SE OK.
They have a breakfast menu they serve until 11am and then they change the menu for lunch. Not sure about dinner as I didn’t stay that long.
Highly recommend a visit!

This kitchen is closed for the long term. There was a fire in the kitchen in early December that destroyed it and closed down the the lodge. Only the cabins are open for reservations. It is disappointing that the website does not let people know this in advance. This is what happened to my wife and I. We reserved a cabin and planed to eat meals at the kitchen. I checked the Sequoyah Lookout kitchen website to ensure they would be open. Nothing states that they are closed. 🙁
I will say that the park did canceled our reservation and refunded our money.

Service was so slow. We had to wait way too long for food to come out. Other tables were waiting at least 15-20 mins just to be able to order their food. My husbands chicken fried steak was tough to eat, small and almost no gravy. The bread in my pasta was a little burnt. I would not recommend anyone eat here.

The dough on the pizza was raw. And it was 22 dollars for a small one. The fries were overpriced, and came from the freezer. I was promised queso Blanco and was served just queso. People were nice though

My chicken sandwich was overdone and hard the biscuit was burnt and hard as a hockey puck. They did give us a new biscuit. service was great. the fruit salad was amazing

Restaurant was supposed to open at 8, we get there at 8:30 and it’s still closed. Hotel staff told us it was about a 20 minute wait so we waited 30 and they still weren’t open. First time trying to come here and we were disappointed we didn’t get to try it.
