If you’re craving for authentic Bangalore dosa which is crispy on the outside slightly thick and softer inside.. this is perfect. Rameshwaram or CTR or Taaza Thindi vibes. Chutney was amazing and Sambar was good. Filter coffee was perfect amount of sweet. Had the idli but would recommend the dosa and gobi manuchurian highly. Really enjoyed. It is outdoor seating so dress accordingly. Parking was easy. Grateful this place exists 🙂

If you’re from Bangalore like me, you know how hard it is to find good, authentic food that reminds you of home. But Bangalore Cafe Xpress in Cary? Man, they really nailed it! Their benne masala dosa is just perfect – crispy on the outside, soft inside, and that masala filling hits all the right notes. And the Gobi Manchurian? Oh, that took me right back to my college days in Bangalore, hanging out with friends and enjoying those spicy, tangy flavors that you just don’t forget.
The outdoor seating here in the evenings makes it feel like a chill Bangalore adda where you can sit with your family and friends, enjoy the breeze, and dig into some amazing food. The people running the place are super warm and really care about serving up the best.
The location is easy to get to, right close to the highway, so you’ve got no excuse not to go. Trust me, if you want a genuine taste of Bangalore in Cary, this place is a must-visit. You’ll leave feeling full and happy, just like back in the old days

Pooja makes excellent dosas, and her coconut chutney is easily the best in the Raleigh area. Her poori with aloo subzi, paneer curry, gobi 65, chilli paneer, pepper chicken, and chicken 65 are all consistently very good.
Her biryanis are tasty as well, though not made regularly. She prepares them once in a while. The thattu idlis are also excellent and highly recommended.
Make sure to order early and plan for pickup. On busy days, allow her about 60 to 90 minutes.
In terms of quality, they focus on making authentic South Indian food rather than maximizing profits. Their commitment to good, honest food is truly appreciable.

Ms. Pooja and her husband pour so much love and attention into their food. The food is phenomenal- just like back home! And the best part is that the couple are so affable! We also asked them to cater for an event. Communication and pickup were both smooth and easy-obviously the food was greatly appreciated by our guests:)

Despite being a food truck, this has become our favorite South Indian restaurant in the area, especially for weekend breakfast! Im still relatively new to South Indian food and their vada is the first time I’ve understood why my wife loves it so much. I know it’s cliche but she has given it the ultimate endorsement: that it’s just like her mom used to make. It is crispy on the outside and soft on the inside and the coconut chutney that comes with has to a perfect little kick of spice. Our baby also loves their kesari with pineapple!
Everything is clearly made fresh and with care. To top it off, they are such a lovely family. It always brightens my day to chat with them when I pick up food.
