Had eggs over easy with English muffin. The yokes were a little overcooked. One egg yoke was broken.
Service was slow. The waitress was on her phone and distracted with family issues.
The counter and booths are well worn – the Formica on the counter is worn through the pattern in some areas. The TV was loud and repeatedly lost its signal.

Waiting 50 mins on my birthday for food .. still didnt come out and when I told the lady about it she told me I could wait or leave. She was very rude and not friendly . I use to be a regular there but they lost my business. I would not recommend it . They need to hire new staff . The lady was so rude.. the lady was always cursing at us

Tried going four times with my husband. The first two times were a casual diner breakfast that was good. The last two times we arrived, we were told they are closed yet people were sitting there around the counter area. It appears this place is not an inclusive environment that really wants customers but just their “own” regulars, having been turned away twice for what seemed to be no reason telling us they are closed, we simply werent wanted there…very rude and stale

As a Diner Enthusiast, I can confidently say that this is a hidden gem. I’ve been to close to 100 diners and the food here rivals the best. The tables were filled with veterans and local regulars that know the waitress by name. I left with a full tummy and a smile on my face. More people should be coming here. Found on a Google search for places to eat near another appointment I had. I drove by it the first time. It’s directly across from the Firehouse It’s a small place with maybe four tables and a u-shaped counter with stools.. The coffee was excellent I had a omelette with sausage mushroom and cheese and I asked for rye toast dark. The food was amazing. It was the best omelette I’ve had and a very long time. The price was reasonable the service was great! I will be going back when I’m in the area

The place is awesome. The staff are amazing. Great food and customer service. Understanding about allergies. Always good conversation. Don’t have to wait long to be waited on. Overall just a awesome place with awesome people. And the prices are very cheap and you get a lot of food for you’re money. The fish and meatloaf is to die for.

Was charged 20$ for two breakfast sandwiches. I ordered on the phone to pick up. Was not satisfied with the price or the food. eggs over cooked sausage patties were thicker than normal. I wanted a breakfast sandwich not a sausage sandwich. I prefer ”babes diner” in cohoes.
5$ a sandwich and the eggs were correct, with yoke not folded up and overcooked. Definitely have better options. I tried something new because they had a decent rating 4.6 stars. Don’t make my mistake.

Truly one of my favorite places to eat. Super friendly staff. Donna is the best and has jokes for days if you have a sense of humor. Food is great & prices are affordable. It’s nice to chat with the old timers around the center table.

Local diner. Kinda like cheers, everyone knows everyone, all sit at the bar, so when you walk in; they know you are new, but are friendly and nice. You may have to wait a bit for your order, sometimes the owner works alone, but the food is good.
