Found Dan’s by chance on Google maps and stopped in after work. You can order from either the breakfast or lunch menu (always a plus for the 3rd shifter) and I mistakenly ordered a sweet tea, the 1/2 lb Cheeseburger with chili/ketchup and fries. Don’t get me wrong…the meat was fresh, the ample chili deliciously homemade and the buns soft but it was HUGE and I couldn’t eat it all. Don’t order that unless you’re prepared to leave STUFFED. The crispy fries were my favorite crinkle cut and piping hot. Sweet tea was great and free refills. My waitress Christy (I hope you spell it this way) was the perfect blend of making sure I was taken care of and giving me space to enjoy their delicious food. I would definitely recommend and make a return visit.

One of the easiest places to swing by for my 30 minute lunch break. They are quick and friendly. They have daily specials and great sweet tea!

Dan’s is a small “hole in the wall” place that I thought was a gas station. However, we gave them a try and were very pleased. The food was good, hot, comfort food. The menu has decent variety with sandwiches, plates and vegetables as well. The interior was clean and the employees were friendly and helpful. As McArthur said, “I shall return.”

Stopped in to grab a bite real quick and was not disappointed. Hole in the wall old school grill in the eckards drug store type feel.
Good food service was fast and very friendly. If I’m working in the area I will stop in again

Went after grandparents day at the preschool. I got the breakfast plate, all the food was good but this is the first restaurant I have come to ordered gravy and it was just like Grandma’s. I had to compliment the chef.

Good place to grab a quick meal in the morning rush. Service was friendly and got my meal fast. Breakfast platter good but gravy and biscuit could have been better. Biscuit was dry and over baked and gravy had little flavor. Grits, egg and sausage was great.

Just moved here and this review is based on two visits. Breakfast and Lunch. The fried bologna and fried liver mush were good but the bacon and eggs were overcooked, the bacon mostly too hard to eat. Decided to try lunch. When we called to order, we were disappointed to find out that we couldn’t order anything “on the side”. I have a picky one that wants her chili and slaw on the side for carryouts so the bread doesn’t get soggy before it gets home. Not an option here, so instead of ordering a third burger for her (lost current and future sale over no “on the side” option) we decided she could split my Club and fries as I can never eat a whole one anyway. Was super disappointed to get, not a Club, but a ham sandwich with bacon, lettuce and tomato. The bacon, was again, overcooked and hard to eat. Most was pulled off and given to the Goodest Boi. Not being a traditional Club is not that big a deal, I guess, but just a heads up for anyone who thinks they might get a “True” Club sandwich here. There is no turkey on it. Admittedly, the ham is delicious (probably the best thing so far) and it was a perfectly good sandwich but was a bit disappointed thinking it was a CLUB. Also, they could boost sales with turkey that’s on par with that ham. Not just for the Club, but Turk sandwiches, TBS sands, Wraps, Melts and Salads. Feels like a lost $$ opportunity. Not my business to run, I know, it’s just sometimes hard to shut off years of operations management ideas. The place has potential. O’rings were also good and crispy as ordered, but the fries were not made to order. Overall it was just okay for us. Can’t say we will never go back cause as I said…potential. But, in my professional and personal opinion, they need some training help.
