This Carib Grill Jamaican Restaurant & Bakery location in Lansdowne, PA has very good food that is made with care. The staff are very thoughtful of the customers wait time for the food to be ready and very attentive to details on food orders made. Keep up the good work

I was stopped at the light on Lansdowne and noticed a new Jamaican restaurant had opened. I decided to try them out on my way back home and I’m glad I did!
The woman that took my order was very friendly and told me the sides they offered. They had a touchscreen kiosk; however, there were no other menus visible. I was the only patron at the time so it was simple. I can see if more people are waiting to order and need to use the 1 kiosk how it may cause a back up.
The restaurant itself is small, intimate, clean and comfortable with a couple of high top tables that seat two and a lower table that also seats two. Nice Caribbean music was softly playing as well.
I ordered the oxtail platter with peas & rice, and cabbage and 2 beef patties. I was pleasantly surprised by the portion sizes. I njoyed the oxtails, they were well cooked and not overly spicy. The beef patty was flaky and tasty as well.
I will return and try other options. I highly recommend you give them a try!

Please do not make the same mistake I did. Don’t be fooled by the reviews. I ordered the jerk chicken meal for $15.50 and was extremely disappointed when I saw the chicken was RAW!!! On top of that, the food lacked flavor the only thing that made it taste decent was the sauce. They also forgot my extra jerk sauce, which I paid an additional 50 cents for. The rice was soft and mushy I personally didn’t mind it, but if you prefer firmer rice, consider this a fair warning.

The food is always so good and fresh. I particularly love the Jerk Pork, and the collard greens are beyond fantastic. We love this sweet independent place to pick up a quick meal in Lansdowne.

Lansdowne needs a Caribbean restaurant so I was exited to try it out. I was greeted immediately, the lady was real nice. Loved that she washed her hands as soon she entered the kitchen.
Everything was clean and bright. I ordered a beef patty and lg brown stew with 2 sides. The packaging was good, no leaks or spills from the containers.
Good portion size and the food tasted fresh and flavorful. I would recommend as a new place to try and I would go back!
I hope they keep the consistency in food and service as they continue to gain business.

I Ordered 2 Jerk Chicken platters with cabbage and Mac & cheese 10/16/25. The food was delicious Everything had wonderful flavor. The staff was wonderful. My new favorite restaurant.

We had been looking forward to the opening of this restaurant for months. The food—jerk chicken was sour, and looked and tasted like leftover 3 day old food. The cashier was sour and service was unfriendly by her. Poor quality and unfriendly —no warm welcome by the one taking our order and money. Two other women were friendly, but the food will keep us away. We won’t be returning—sorry to say.
