This is quite possibly one of the worst delivered food experiences I’ve had with a restaurant using DoorDash +. Not only was their most expensive signature roll ironically titled Sushi Master Roll filled with little more than fried tempura and looked nothing like the decadent description shown on the menu, but when I called the restaurant to confront the manager about order quality issues and express my understandable disappointment, I was unceremoniously insulted by first being called “stupid” and then mockingly advised to try a similar dish at other Japanese restaurants going forward. I’m beyond disappointed in my experience and would not advise anyone to order from this restaurant in the future!

The sushi here is fresh and there is little wait. Great menu choices and very accomidating. i had a red dragon and sakura roll and a shitaki roll.

If we knew the delivery would take 1 hour 50 minutes. We would have went to the restaurant. Still waiting, food is probably cold, lost interest in rice and teriyaki that cost $40. The restaurant kept lying how long the delivery driver would be. 10 more minutes. Read the other reviews on Seamless and stay far away.
Update: the chicken wasn’t cooked right: it was crunchy with soy sauce. Udon was soy sauce and vinegar. This must be Chinese-run, as Japanese would be ashamed to serve this. They offered a $2 refund…

Excellent food, prepared fast and friendly service. All the plates and rolls are fairly priced, and well portioned so you won’t leave hungry! Large variety of rolls, bento boxes, and great dinner platers. This is my new favorite quick dinner or takeout sushi restaurant.

I took advantage of the promo with Yama Sushi and Grubhub and saved $10 on my first delivery. I’m glad I did because the food was good and their prices were fair. I ordered the Salmon and Chicken Teriyaki combo which comes with steamed rice, salad and a cup of Miso soup. Just perfect for a meal after a long day at work. Also recommend the Beef Donburi.

super confusing and bad experience here. the reviews are all good so i don’t know what was different for us. went with my girlfriend. they seemed really mad that we were there. we ordered a donburi and then some rolls. the donburi is listed ON THE MENU as coming with miso soup. donburi is literally a rice dish also. they said we had to pay extra for the soup, and when the donburi came out it was missing the rice? when we asked where it was they said they would have to charge extra. we also ordered 2 diet cokes. they gave us diet cokes that were literally expired. i was kind of at a loss for words. maybe the worst thing was. it was middle of winter. we were the only people eating in at that time. and while we ate, they turned the heat off. it became freezing cold in the restaurant and so we kind of had to leave. they were wearing puffer jackets. it was such a horrible experience. for context, we are an lgbt couple. not sure if this played any sort of role in our treatment (we were also not really putting that on display there) but i wanted to note it.

The food here is delicious! The waiters are very accommodating, and attentive! Love their customer service.The sashimi here is to die for! Extremely fresh! But, if you aren’t into raw sushi, I would highly recommend their dragon roll, as it is delightful! Overall, the food here is always consistent and does not disappoint. I always leave this place with a smile on my face. Highly recommend stopping by this small sushi restaurant, truly a hidden gem in Belmont!
