This restaurant is connected to the main lobby of The Hotel Spero (IHG) and also has an outdoor entrance to the street.
Staying at the Spero Hotel makes this place very convenient.
Surpringly the food was reasonably priced and quite good. The service was good, but almost was a 4 star because you had to aske for a refill of your drink despite the server walking past the table with an empty water, soda or coffees.
I would eat here again, as I would stay in the Hotel Spero again.

Very good service and yummy food. The manager Brian goes out of his way to help and serve customers. Enjoying breakfasts and dinners here, while staying at the nearby hotel.

Returning to this restaurant, I found the quality even better than I remembered. Both the mains and sides come in large portions, leaving me completely stuffed. The chef’s use of spices has become more sophisticated—the rich aromas linger long after the meal. The atmosphere is both cozy and trendy, perfect for both friends and family. The staff are observant, keeping glasses full and maintaining a friendly attitude. I admire their commitment to constant improvement; this place is officially on my personal favorites list.

It’s not too bad of a place. I had breakfast and it was quite nice. The service was fast, the food wasn’t too bad, and the price for that area was OK. I would recommend going there when staying at Hotel Spero.

Tania is THE BEST bartender. They were very attentive/friendly and drinks were superb. The food was hot and delicious. We ordered their million dollar deviled eggs, super yummy. Pork belly candy was juicy, flavorful and just the right amount of sweetness. French onion soup had a good flavor and lots of cheese. Cornbread muffin was FRESH and so moist.
Lavender fields cocktail did the trick, one and done for me lol. The old fashioned was nice with a citrus flavor.

They have a very good cook! No fancy dishes, but all are very tasty. Selection of beer is also nice.
However they work in a very inefficient way. No one takes care of the entrance, no one takes care of taking orders. They seem busy but no idea what they are busy with. Sometimes all waiters disappear and you can find no one except customers in the restaurant……

Coming into the restaurant was great. Their tables are decorated with rosemary, which contrasts to the smells of SF streets, offering some odoriferous relief and contrast.

I asked the server her preference between the salmon and the steak frites and she strongly suggested the salmon. I wasn’t disappointed. The salmon was good — the glaze was great, and I really enjoyed the risotto. I’m not usually one that enjoys mushrooms, but these were actually pleasant. The asparagus were tender, but not overcooked. I would have preferred a more crispy asparagus, but their taste was on point.

I indulged in the dessert — the bread pudding — which was great, partly because the garnish of fresh berries and whipped cream cut the sweetness of the caramel.

It was a great dinner before attending the theater (Curran) nearby.

Little bar opposite our hotel that we hoped would serve as a place for an easy and decent bite to eat while avoiding jet lag. We saw the mixed reviews but it was so near we took a chance.
Only one person serving both the bar and waiting tables. The order was delayed and wrong. The place had little to no atmosphere and is begging to be bought out and refurbished.
A tepid welcome to the city. For a much better experience, try Tad’s or Pinecrest for a much better dining experience.

In an area where there are so many edgy or at least trendy places to eat, you wonder how an upscale Denny’s fits in. To be fair, the food I had (traditional 2 eggs breakfast; yogurt parfait; and waffle) were all very good, the parfait was the best. The coffee is like my dad used to make (Folgers). Breakfast came as a voucher with my room. Service was prompt upon sitting down, and food was served promptly.

Coming here for “brunch” on Sundays for a couple weeks, this place is now one of my favorites and a must-go. The restaurant is super clean and even feels a little bit high-end. I often sit at the bar watching Football games, including Super Bowl. There is a decent selection of beers, and you can order a beer flight. Great place to casually sit down if you’re in town or touring the neighborhood on foot. The food is absolutely amazing…higher priced but totally worth the dollars.
