Excellent food and super friendly and kind owners. We ordered two appetisers and we liked the one with herring & fried chestnut so much! According to the owner, it’s the recipe passed down from his grand parent. So good!

Pici and pasta with wild boar sauce were also superb! The desserts, especially Tiramisu, is a must-try!!!

We know Italy quite well. Florence was new for us. After two days of falling for tourist traps ( restaurants with lots of marketing and shitty kitchens) we finally found this little gem.
Welcomed by the owner and his friendly staff we got the taste of Tuscany like we were searching for.
The restaurant interior is a bit old and not outstanding. But the food was very good. Including the home made Olive oil. We are coming back for the T-bone steak soon.

I was lucky to enjoy the lunch. The staff was so nice and the food was amazing! They brought me some delicious bread first, and I also ordered burrata from the special menu and pasta with tomatoes and cheese. It was great! The tiramisu dessert in a surprise pot was delicious. I highly recommend this place

We stumbled into this trattoria and had one of our favorite meals in Florence. The potatoes with bacon were out-of-this-world good and the service was so welcoming. Wish we could have tried the whole menu!

For our last night in Florence, this was the best meal yet. Amazed by the quality of the food. Everything we ordered was perfect and delicious. Saffron risotto, pea cream ravioli, lavender milk and honey dessert, for example. Unique, authentic Italian dishes. Attentive and friendly service. So much better than the cardboard pizza and chewy pasta at every other place we had been.

So lucky to have been recommended this place from a friend – the pork cooked four ways was delicious, the wild boar pasta had a great texture, and the eggplant parmigiana was the best eggplant we’ve had in our lives! The chef was super friendly and spoke about how they make the extra virgin olive oil on the table from their farm. Don’t miss it!

Very disappointing experience all around. I don’t understand the positive reviews. The food was unappetizing, atmosphere was non-existent and the service cold and seemingly uninterested in our experience. It did not feel that any effort was put into the quality of food or service which I rarely find in well reviews places. It was a slow Tuesday night so possibly different servers and kitchen staff? No idea what happened but I can’t imagine anyone enjoying the meal we had.

The food was tasty but the portion was small and the price a bit high. The concept of the tiramisu was great, l recommend you try this place at least once.

A real gem to find.
We ate here 2 nights in a row.
Great family run restaurant, all staff Where freindly and service minded.
Starters where great as where the pasta dishes!
We also had the steak Florentine where what was so tasty but very big! ( we took the leftovers home with us)
Very good food for the price, a must when in Florence!
Would 100% come again!

Our favorite dining experience in Firenze. The gnocchi (Liars gnocchi) and Florentine steak were both incredible. Be warned on the steak… it is a massive cut. Easily shared with 2+ people. It is sold by the kg, but a small cut comes in at 1.3-1.5 kgs.
