The pictures don’t do this food justice!!! This food was AMAZING!!! Ordered goat, lamb, curry chicken, Mac n cheese, spinach and of course ROTI!!! We enjoyed every dish!!! The Lord blessed the hands that made this food! Probably one of the best meals I’ve ever had. Dawn and Marvin was so nice and welcoming. It was my first time trying Trini food and Dawn helped recommend dishes to order. I ordered the chicken roti, doubles, goat, macaroni pie, plantains, and talkarie and everything was so good! If it’s your first time trying Trini food, I suggest you try some of everything. I will definitely be back!

All yuh! I highly recommend Ds! Their customer service is top-notch, and the food is authentic and delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal, which included doubles, potato and channa with dhalpuri roti, beef and potatoes with paratha, and corn soup. The beef was tender and nice! Everything seasoned perfectly.
As a Trinidadian, I can confidently say that Ds serves genuine Trinidadian cuisine. I’m already looking forward to my next visit!

My husband and I just ate at D’s ..for the very first time a Ms a Father’s Day treat and we truly enjoyed every bite.
The owners were friendly, and welcoming. They politely took the time out to explain each food choice.
Our curried & brown stewed chicken, calleloo and okra, peas, potatoes and roti were bursting with different flavors of deliciousness!

D’s Roti is absolutely delicious! The food is always fresh, flavorful, and made with love. You can really taste the authenticity in every bite — especially the roti, which is soft and perfectly done. The portions are generous, and the staff is friendly and welcoming every time I visit. It’s easily one of my favorite spots in Chicago for Caribbean food. Highly recommend!

Absolutely loved this place. Everything is authentic to Trinidadian cuisine and delicious. They make you feel like you’re part of the family. Get your name, share their name, get your sporting interest on the TV. I had a Dalpouri roti with curry chicken and potatoes wrapped inside. Amazing flavors and texture. My husband and I were visiting downtown Chicago for a few days from Ohio. We wanted to find some delicious Caribbean food and boy did we! The food was so authentic and finger licking good. Reminded me of my younger days in Guyana. I couldn’t get enough. We even used Uber eats next day to get some deliver to our hotel. We are returning to Chicago next spring and we are looking forward to visiting this restaurant again. The customer service was top notch too. Wish if they would open a restaurant in Columbus Ohio!!!

The food is amazing and tastes just like home. They catered part of my wedding last year and all my family from the Caribbean went for seconds. The owners are lovely people and treat you like family.
