Laziz Lebanese Cuisine is so much more than just a restaurant to me—it’s a place that feels like home. The first time I walked in, I was greeted not only with the incredible aroma of authentic Lebanese cooking but also with the warmth and kindness of the owners. Licha, the owner, has become my friend. He is such a genuine, down-to-earth man who takes the time to connect with people, and his wife is just as gracious and welcoming. Together, they create an atmosphere where you don’t feel like a customer—you feel like family.

The food itself is unforgettable. Every bite tastes like it was prepared with love. The shawarma melts in your mouth, the hummus is smooth and full of flavor, and the fresh bread is out of this world. You can taste tradition, passion, and authenticity in every single dish. Each visit leaves me feeling not only satisfied but also grateful for the experience.

What really touches me is how much heart Licha and his wife put into everything they do. They don’t just serve food—they share a piece of their culture, their story, and their generosity with everyone who walks through the door. It’s rare to find a place where the people matter just as much as the food, but Laziz has both in abundance.

If you’re looking for a meal that fills your stomach and warms your heart, Laziz Lebanese Cuisine is the place. It’s not just dining—it’s an experience of friendship, culture, and true hospitality that keeps me coming back again and again.

I genuinely cannot say anything negative about this place. The service is Michelin level with the kindest people who remember their customers. Their 15$ wrap deal is unbeatable in terms of quality of food and portion size. The menu diversity is seriously impressive bar none. Laziz is uptowns greatest secret as I only found out about it through word over ear. Please Please Please check this spot out if you want something new, delicious, and beautiful.

The best place run by the best people. Incredible food. Best hummus around. Spicy fish wrap is my favorite. Flavorful, balanced, with the perfect crisp. One of the only places in Pittsburgh I have found a great moussaka! The family that runs this establishment are the absolute embodiment of hospitality. I have known them for a long time, and they never fail to care for me and make me feel like family. Incredibly kind, hard working, honest folks. They are a credit to Lebanon and its people. I cannot sing high enough praises, please support these fine folks, I promise you they deserve it and then some. If you think I’m biased, let the other reviews speak for themselves. Nothing but love. Oh, and don’t sleep on the dessert!

Wonderful food and workers! We had a great experience here. The food was the freshest out of all of the Lebanese/Middle Eastern restaurants I’ve been to around Pittsburgh. The falafel were very flavorful, and the kafta were the best. They were juicy and perfectly seasoned. The baklava is wonderful! We will be back again soon.

Delicious! What a gem in mount Lebanon. Some of the best mujaddarah that I’ve had and great falafel. Don’t miss the baklava!!!

The space is in an office building but perfectly fine to sit in, or ideal for takeout.

Cannot say enough about this spot. It’s hidden – you enter through a partially-hidden door at the street level of the Executive Building – but it’s a HIDDEN GEM!! I tried the Spicy Fish (salmon) wrap, and it did NOT disappoint. The toasted pita, the seasoned fish, the fresh vegetables, and a house sauce that brings it all together. Chef’s kiss!!! I would have taken a photo of the wrap, but I SMASHED it so fast there was no chance. Taking a photo of my empty plate as evidence. GO down to Laziz and you won’t be sorry

We dined in at Laziz which is located in the basement of a building. It was very clean, the service was quick and all our food was served fresh and hot. The hummus was creamy and the falafel was crispy and hot. I personally liked the rice platter better than the chicken shwarma wrap I got. I found my wrap to be a little dry and did not have enough chicken. The gyro rice platter was excellent. Definitely a must visit if you’re craving delicious lebanese food

DISAPPOINTING and BLAND Lebanese food.
The meal below was 28.00. Their salads are not true greens but cheap iceberg lettuce. And they charge extra for feta???? on a Lebanese salad ??? The pita was tough as nails and not fun to chew. The red lentil soup was super bland with zero flavor. The shwarma was so bad after one bite that I left. Terrible eating experience.

Amazing hospitality and homemade authentic cooking that tastes just like my mother’s cooking. The owner even gave me some hummus and baklava for the road as a gift. I highly recommend this family-owned and family-run business. You are in for a treat!
