Second time going= pleasant & upbeat service!
#1-Small, quiet, & quaint. In an older house but very decorative & somewhat rustically modern inside, with a small coffee bar.
#2=a room for eating, another with “Dennison” Clothes & couch/puzzle/TV(playing country music)
#1-There is a menu & no pressure when ordering. Server was very nice, even though we sat outside & it looked like the door gave her troubles when carrying the food out.
#2= No pressure when ordering ‘to go’ ($12 for strawberry+blueberry salad)($6-7 for Large Brown Sugar Espresso)
#1-Truly the best coffee & salad I’ve ever had around these parts!
The portions were very large & in charge for all dishes!
Father loved his wrap, & he’s picky!
Mom loved her sandwich & has tried to duplicate it at home.
They also loved their fries.
Mom got a holiday coffee & we agreed its the best pumpkin flavored anything we’ve ever had!
Mine was espresso, but all around at least they both had that coffee taste youd want.
The hours however are not friendly for night owls(closes@2pm)
Price was fair for the portions.
Beyond the food, the atmosphere is lovely—the cafe is beautifully decorated especially for the holidays, and was very inviting. The staff was incredibly sweet and welcoming. I will definitely be back soon to try more of their menu items!
I recently stopped by for a holiday coffee and was ecstatic to see how BEAUTIFULLY the place had been decorated for the holidays. The inside seating arrangements were quaint and cozy and I was pleased to see they had a nice menu selection.
That being said… Barely any of the staff could answer hardly any questions about the products they were selling. When I asked what was on brew today, I was told “I think a medium brew”. No further information was given/known. Additionally, only one of four staff members on site could recommend me a drink that wasn’t overly sweet. One employee even told me they don’t like coffee and anything they drink would be very sweet.
Now, I’m no expert, but from a business perspective: four people working with only one possessing a real working knowledge of the products being sold, to me, is a waste of money. Perhaps better training is required to help facilitate a smoother customer interaction? I’m not sure…
Will gladly continue to get my coffee here, but I’d like it if there were more people that could help ME, versus me having to help the staff and explain the product to them.
So I have been here 3 other times and got a latte that is normally hot and they gave it to me iced. I went in today and asked for the same thing, and they told me they couldn’t. I told her they had before but it was okay I didn’t want to push it, then just picked another latte. I went to sit down and the lady proceeded to berate me to her coworker thinking I couldn’t hear! Saying I was dumb and the drink didn’t exist. I am sorry I got the drink from this exact place 3 other times lady but yeah, you’re right I am stupid!!!! My bad!!!! I will not come here again.
I guess there’s another location about 30 minutes away from here. I may try that next time I get out of town! 10 out of 10 recommend!
