Top 5 best burger in the state. Great place to visit, nice motorcycle ride to get there, polite and funny staff as well as making a darn good burger. I will assuredly come back again.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!!
We loved this place so much, we went two weekends in a row and will definitely go back next time we’re in the area. Such a great find in a small town. The burger options are great and they’re restaurant quality for a diner. We tried the bird burger, the blackberry bacon burger, the blue cheeseburger and the jalapeño burger and they were all amazing! The bird was my favorite. French fries are real potatoes and perfectly crisp. The pasta salad was delicious and a very hefty portion. The milkshakes were super tasty and creamy and they used real fruit. I had a strawberry and blackberry milkshake and it was so good. The root beer shake was okay, surprisingly tasted more like root beer flavoring rather than using actual root beer. Oreo peanut butter shake was bomb. There’s a really fun area outside too where you can hangout and play yard games and chill. They also serve beer 🙂

I’ve liked this place since the current owner took over a number of years ago. Some of their menu is weird combinations of ingredients in or on a burger which makes them unique. The burgers are large, like 1/3 to 1/2 pound so I guess a $15-16 dollar price tag is sorta warranted but that high price also limits my ability to dine there very often. It’s basically $50 for me and the wife to go in, eat a burger and fries and get a small milkshake plus tax and tip. I loved their breakfast but they’ve mostly stopped serving that because they can’t get help evidently. They had the best biscuits and gravy and the hash browns were outstanding. But sadly those days are over. At times I’ll call ahead to place a pick up order and no one answers the phone OR they answer it and then forget they placed you on hold for ten minutes. I hope they can get enough help this summer to operate efficiently. Their food is solid despite the high price. I’m concerned that if the current owners is able to sell the place (yes, it’s up for sale) that this business will once again become the revolving door it was before she bought it, with multiple owners coming in, not able to sustain the business, never knowing IF it will be open when you stopped by for a bite to eat, or not. At least most times you can count on them remaining open… unless it’s really hot outside when they will unexpectedly shut down with only a Facebook post to let the public know. Anyway, it’s a decent joint upriver and there rent all that many choices up there.

You seriously need to stop here to eat!! Possibly the best burger I have ever had!!! We got the mushroom bacon burger and the bacon was thick cut and the burger was so flavourful. Fries and onion ring were also delicious and the root beer milkshake was amazing to top it off. The dog friendly and shaded outdoor eating area was perfect for our pups on a hot day, and we even got him a doggy burger (he says it was also 10/10 in flavour) not to mention the bonus peice of bacon they gave us to give our pups. Service was amazing and so friendly and the atmosphere was great. Anytime we are hiking in the cascades I will be making a point to stop here!!

A really enjoy the burger and the fries are delicious!
I wish they had better quality condiments (ketchup is the cheapest at chef’store) but still very good.

Such a fun, delicious place! The people were so nice and the food was amazing. Top 5 burgers in my life. The outdoor seating and games were a huge bonus! Order the famous bacon and Mac and cheese burger but replace the chipotle sauce with blackberry compote. TRUST ME

The jalapeno burger was delicious! Crispy fries came with it and I also got me some cheese curds. It was more than I could eat in one sitting. A little expensive but not ridiculous.
