We tried their new “ subwich “ menu.We were impressed. If you love sandwich this is your sign. We ordered the chicken bbq subwich and lechon kawali subwich. This the best sandwich I have ever had. Think of it like Banh Mi sandwich with Filipino flavors every element of this sandwich was made to perfection. The bread was perfectly soft, and have good crust on the outside, -and it holds up all well so every bite you take it the bread don’t fall apart. The lechon kawali subwich which I highly recommend is crunchy and moist pork tender meat.The chicken bbq was generous amount and sweet and Smokey flavors. The pickled carrots and radishes was perfect crunch add to the sandwich. The fresh cucumber and cilantro add a refreshing finishing taste on every bite. It was a very well balanced flavor sandwich. You can add jalapeño slices if you want it spicy. The umami of this Filipino Subwich it out of this World! We paired the sandwich with kanto fries and chose chees flavor. Think of flavored Cheeto fries. We also ordered sotanghon soup as it was Rainey and cold. It was a good match with the sandwich. We finished with some rakenrol Ice tea( black ice tea with calamansi flavor.)

Loved it!! I miss my grandpa and his delicious Filipino cooking and this place took me right back to my childhood. Everyone loved their meals and finished them all. It is authentic bones in deliciousness. It was a Friday night with a karaoke contest. The one thing I would change is I would have turned the speakers down a little bit but the food was amazing and staff very friendly and talented singers! I don’t live here but when I visit I’ll be back and my local friends plan on returning. I got the sinigang. Try the delicious free broth while you wait.

We tried this place for the first time and it was DEEEEELICIOUS! I got the pork BBQ and I loved the flavor! Everything was so good! The drink I got was also really good. The only thing is, my husband got the pork belly dish, and there wasn’t a whole lot of flavor on the pork belly. I kind of think that the sauce they put on the pork BBQ would be super good on the pork belly too, but that’s just our own opinion! Everything was still super delicious! We’ll definitely be back!

Lumpia was a great casual place to get dinner! The food was amazing. They had a QR code to see pictures of all of the food and descriptions which really helped while ordering! The food will have some bones in it so be prepared for that if you get some chicken dishes. The chicken was most excellent. Super moist and soft. The flavor was amazing. Also got the hot chocolate which was perfect.

The beef was tender with a good chewy to it. It came with caramelized onions in a gravy like sauce with a good citrus tang to it. Nice helping of rice that was fluffy. 2 tomato & cucumber slices. 2 spring rolls that had a great crunch with sweet & sour sauce.

My fiancé and I drove an hour and a half to try this place today. I’m so glad we did. Everything was so delicious and exactly as pictured. We’ve been to St. Louis and Chicago’s pinoy restaurants but this one was the BEST we’ve tried, very authentic. Wish we did not live that far so I could eat lunch here everyday.

We just moved from Portland indiana to Lewistown illinois. My husband wanted to take me to Springfield Asian Store so I tried to find if there’s a Filipino Restaurant around. Found out there is one which is not too far from the Asian Store. My husband ordered a pork barbecue on stick,rice with lumpia shanghai while I ordered pork adobo,rice with lumpia shanghai too. After he paid them I told him I wanna try their pork sisig. We’re both surprised how tasty the food. My husband said it is delicious . He even remembered the name sisig. He told me that when we’re in the Philippines he ate those. We both are satisfied and we brought back left overs. They’re generous on giving our food. When we got home he told me he wanted to eat the Filipino left over from The Lumpia House. Yummmm

They have the best FREE broth for their customers. They are always extremely friendly and make me feel welcome. Even when I get off late and come in right before closing. They don’t make me feel like a burden, which as a hospital employee is very appreciated. They have best food and lumpia! We love the BBQ Pork and BBQChicken skewers.
