Casa Roja is the newest Mexican restaurant in Gallatin. It already has a reputation for being different, for basing its recipes on old family recipes. We had Guacamole Casserole, Enchiladas Spinach and Cheese, and Hawaian Burrito. Everything was superb, including the
Service. The dining area is split and each are has its own personality.

This was our first time since it became Mexican. The chips and queso was wonderful. They have thin chips, which are my favorite. The queso was kind of spicy, but not too spicy. The rice was ok, but I didn’t eat 98 percent of it. The ground beef was ok, nothing special (in my burrito).
The service was okay, not the best. But she was young so maybe she was new. She was nice though. The atmosphere was great!

First time going. I went with a group of friends who are regulars. Service was a little slow, but in their offense, there were only 2 servers working upstairs in our area and there were 3 or 4 tables with multiple people, so it’s to be expected. The chips are amazing, the only issue I had was they were broken into smaller pieces, making it difficult to dip in the salsa, but they did bring us more chips when requested. Salsa was . Food was great, as were the margaritas! As we were paying on our way out, the managers and staff apologized for the hiccups with the waits and were looking to correct and improve. Would Definitely recommend and will be back! Also, the building, decor, and vibe is amazing!

Really nice Mexican restaurant in Gallatin by the police station.
The staff are absolutely amazing, very personable and attentive.
The bar is well stocked with a good variety and the atmosphere is inviting.
Saved the best for last – spectacular food, everyone in our party enjoyed their order. I had the seafood molcajete, delicious!

From the moment we walked in, I was captivated by the cozy atmosphere, striking a perfect balance between casual elegance and warmth. The staff was exceptional, extending genuine friendliness and ensuring every need was met with grace.
Our evening began with the queso accompanied by chorizo, an absolute treat that set the tone for the rest of the meal. Creamy and cheesy, with a delightful smoky twist from the chorizo, it was irresistible.
The array of entrees we selected were beautifully presented and tasted as dazzling as they looked, offering a burst of vibrant flavors that delighted both the eyes and taste buds.
And oh, the grand finale! The churros with ice cream were an indulgent delight. Crispy on the outside, with a sublime caramel cream filling, the churros were a dream dessert.
Casa Roja offers more than just a meal; it’s a dining experience. Whether a lovely evening with family or a gourmet getaway, this spot truly made our dinner memorable. I wholeheartedly recommend visiting Casa Roja. Whether you’re a local or passing through Gallatin, this place deserves a visit!

Great food great service!!!! The only thing I would mention is that the margarita flight is wish it had more ice because the margarita taste warm. I would reccomend putting it in a bigger glass same amount of alcohol but just a bigger glass to add more ice. One piece of ice is too little and it melts too fast. Great experiemce though!!!

Mexican Pizza and quesabirria for lunch today. Everything about our first experience was exceptional! They have a different menu with burgers, sandwiches and pizza!!!! Plus the traditional dishes. The salsa is drinkable❤️. The chips are thin and addictive.

I moved here from Arizona two years ago and I’ve been on a mission to find a Mexican restaurant that doesn’t disappoint. Well, mission [finally] accomplished.
It’s not quite Sonoran-Mexican but it’s pretty darn close and BY FAR the BEST enchiladas and chile relleno I’ve had in Tennessee so far. We tried both the red and green enchiladas and both were spectacular. The rice and beans reminded us of home. The servers were extremely friendly, the vibes were cozy, and the decor was thoughtful, beautiful, and authentic. We’re so grateful to have such a fantastic spot in Gallatin and we’ll definitely be back to try some more dishes!
Edit to add: Please note that as of this posting, the restaurant has only been open for about a month (?) so they are still awaiting their liquor license. Can’t wait to try their future margaritas!

I am absolutely impressed by Casa Roja!! Living in CA & AZ, have my tongue used to West Coast Mexican food, it’s hard to find that same flavor in TN… Until Casa Roja opened their doors! Their flavors immediately resonated quality Mexican food. Thinly sliced tortillas fresh chips, freshly made horcha & jamaica drinks, to their enchiladas with their Salsa Verde that knocked my socks off!! And the best Chile Relleno I’ve had in TN, made with fresh block cheese. Truly amazing authentic West Coast Mexican flavors here!! Service is beyond great, the mgr overheard I wanted a jamaica, but was sold out, he went above and beyond and brought me out a fresh glass from tomorrow’s batch! With the service & flavors, we will be back again & again & again!! A+++
