I’d probably have given them a 3 if the sign out front didn’t claim to have the best burger on the island. A more honest sign would claim to have the most average burger on the island. Meat clearly from a bag of frozen patties, an underripe tomato, and nearly a whole half a red onion. It wasn’t bad by any means. It was extraordinarily average. Management, change your sign and I’ll bump ya up to a 3.
PS why bother asking how i want my burger cooked if you’re just gonna cook it well done anywho?

Locals exploring new restaurants and picked this one to celebrate our anniversary. Great time, great food, great drinks, bacon smoked old fashioned baby! Spaghetti western burger and the fish and chips were wonderfully flavorful!! Calamari is better than kintaros!

We stopped in there last night, the food was excellent. I had their 1/2 lb cheese burger and it was sooo good!, and they had a great selection of beer! The service was top notch. John A was our waiter and he was fantastic!

We visited around 7:45 pm and were seated almost immediately. From the outside, the restaurant seemed like it had a lot of potential, and we really wanted to like it.
The restaurant appeared well staffed, but service was inconsistent. We noticed another table leave after not being acknowledged. It took a while for our server to come to our table, despite passing by several times. After our food arrived, we had to ask for water, utensils, and the bread that was meant to come with the entrées. The bread was served cold, which may be standard for some places.
The food came out quickly and was okay, but the overall experience felt disorganized and inattentive given the number of staff present. Unfortunately, this isn’t a place we’ll be returning to.

A great place for lunch! We sat outside and enjoyed the breeze. I ordered the Blackened Mahi-Mahi sandwich. The Mahi-Mahi had the perfect amount of seasoning and was a generous portion. The house made chips only enhanced the meal. My wife ordered the Chicken Parm sandwich. The tasty sandwich was too much for her to eat so of course I helped her and finished her meal. The service was great!

Jolee was a great bartender, welcoming and service oriented. Nice atmosphere, lots of tv’s to catch that sporting event. Convenient location in Kapa’a. Mahi sandwich was pretty good with housemade potato chips. Onolicious.

Love the 2 BV restaurants on the island, have eaten there since we 1st started coming 10yrs ago. Not an earth shattering experience, but this years first visit was a little frustrating. There were 4 of us….we all ordered, got our drinks, then 3 of us received our meals but the 4th never arrived. Finally we asked & Rick our server (nice guy, not his fault) he explains to us that the food expedieter had delivered the pizza to the wrong table & instead of confirming (or knew in advance what the table they are delivering to actually ordered) it was theirs, left it with the wrong table. Rick informed the kitchen, who of course made another one, but by now all 3 folks were done eating. Then the bill comes, so you can’t comp a drink or even the pizza for that matter after all that wait? Nice restaurant, but maybe some coaching to your food expedieter kids so they don’t leave food with customers who won’t speak up & let them know it isn’t something they ordered, while the customer that did order it sits and waits…..

Saw this place while exploring the area, wish I hadn’t. This place was awful. Got sat and it took forever for us to get greeted by our server, who said he would be right back to get our drink order, mind you they weren’t busy. Then the waiting began. We got our appetizer which was the only good thing about the experience. Got the coconut bliss drink, it’s disgusting, which we didn’t even get till we got the entrée. That brings me to the main event, the rubbery chicken. Ordered chicken and rice stir fry, overcooked chicken, overcooked vegetables, sauce was bad. Overall I wouldn’t waste your money here. Maybe something else is good, but man was mine bad.

Amazing new ale house at coconut market place. 10 taps of local brews, plus 40 mostly local cans and bottled beers. 100s of bourbons make this the only top tier whiskey joint on the island. Double menu includes all the food from the fine Italian joint next door. Must try locale. Beautiful layout and cool staff will have you coming back for sure. A+.

If you love whiskey or bourbon, this is a great little bar to stop by a drink. Food is served also. We drove by a few times and never noticed the sign til the last day of the week and were so sad. The lovely bartender (Julie or Julia) was super friendly and on point with her recommendations while be tolerant of our, “already tried it” while trying to find something new. What she helped us settle on was delightful and we regret making our own choice first. It’s a tiny place next to the Italian restaurant. Plenty of parking. Will definitely stop by every visit to the island.
