Our server was great, and the restaurant was clean yet pretty slow. Their menu was very extensive. Anything under the sun that you could think of a Mexican restaurant selling, they probably sell it. I decided on the pizza Birria and my dad decided on the birria tacos. The flavors were so big and so very delicious. The tortillas were crisped. The only things that could’ve made the meal better were of they gave diced jalapeños in addition to the diced onion and cilantro, and if they gave additional limes to match how many tacos/slices of pizza Birria they give. My drink the Mango Hawaiian Margarita was decent. I wish it had a better balance of tartness with the sweetness, it would’ve elevated the drink even more. I could see myself coming back time and time again, and recommending them for their Birria. It was that good!

BUUUT next time, I’d really appreciate it if they let me know that the gratuity is already included. I was in a bit of a rush and ended up tipping extra without realizing they’d already added it.

Service is great wait staff is attentive and friendly
Food is ok maybe it needs seasoning at least in my dish but my observation is about the refried beans it will afect almost half of the dishes in the restaurant my son also complained about the tomatos no tasting fresh
All this is easy to fix try your own food constantly during the day so if something is not rigth just throw it away and make it fresh, you will have more repeat business because everything will be perfect.
For me is not a complaint but having gratitude include in the bill you need to tell customers before they order prices are little high wich is not a problem if you food is perfect.

After traveling several days from the East Coast we feel very fortunate to have found this delightful restaurant. Lissette our server couldn’t have been more helpful or gracious . The food was very good and though we always try to have fried iced cream wherever we go, we indulged too much in the fajitas and queso con carne. The margaritas were just the way I like them and they were even on special.
We are sorry we are traveling on to Telliride in the morning as we would definitely go back to El Patron again. It was really nice to have a nice dinner with great service . Thank you.

Everything that our large group ordered was really wonderful. The salsa options that were provided with the chips were very flavorful and unique. My favorite was a Pico de Gallo that had mushrooms in it. So tasty! Our waitress was amazing. Just a heads up…. The tip is already included in the ticket.

Service was NOT good. And then they add on a 18% automatic tip! I do not like that. Our unfriendly and not helpful waitress did not deserve 18% of overpriced food, which just makes the actual tip higher. And we never saw her again after our food came out. And we were never offered refills, not even water or chips. And you cant change the automatic tip without making a scene. Food was OK but I’m not real picky so I can’t really say it was authentic Mexican food. I just liked the atmosphere.

We were staying across the street at the Hilton Garden Inn by the airport, and had to have some more local Mexican food before we left. Food was fantastic, well-seasoned, came out quickly & our server Carla made sure we had everything we needed. Love the traditional menu, and the traditional flavors were on point. We’ll be back next time we’re staying at the Denver Airport for sure.

My only regret is that I don’t live closer to this amazing restaurant! The ambience is incredible with beautiful murals covering the walls. The service is spectacular – our server Yennyfer was super friendly and welcoming. The molcajetes and parrilladas are amazing. They always have great music and delicious food. Highly recommended!

Me and my husband went in there to try their food my husband ordered a Hawaiian burger with five tacos try to green chili she gave me a generous size to test it was amazing it was thick yet creamy I’ve got a little bit of spice so good that the tacos amazing we ordered two chicken and three steak Tacos I’m not a steak person like I really don’t even like steak but it was so good I promise you one of the best Mexican restaurant in Colorado I might say it’s the best if you’re in Denver travel little way come to El Patron on Portland Peoria Street you will not be disappointed all the burger theThe burgers so big it reminds me of a Cairo burger if you ever have one back in the day amazing you know the price is kinda expensive but it’s so worth it give it a try
