I’m from Dallas but I have been here 4 times over the last 3 years passing through Seguin visiting family. It is one of my parent’s stops and it has become tradition now. My personal go to is the barbacoa tacos on flour tortillas, always pleases — I liked it so much I ordered one more with an extra tortilla for the road. I have had the beef fajita taco and the picadillo taco before with mixed feelings because the picadillo was not seasoned well, the fajita hits real well though. The flour tortillas are amazing so y’all gotta try ’em. I wish they had some hot sauce they only have salsa.
The atmosphere is nothing special, no music playing, and parking is tight but the restaurant was clean.
Service was kinda lacking unfortunately, the waitresses were all sitting down at the same time eating even when I was trying to get my bill and pay for it, it seems my server wasn’t allowed to ring items in. It just looks bad when the are all eating at the same time while people wait to payout.
I’ll be back soon, I gotta have me tacos.

Nice little diner. Very clean place. Eggs were a bit odd tasting but still good. Who knows, maybe what i was tasting is what real eggs should taste like. Hmmmm . Very surprised to see the numbers of views on my photos but welcome nonetheless. I arrived just as they were opening.

What can I say? This place made my sister and I feel right at home. We were greeted and felt welcome the moment we walked in. The server was very sweet and provided great customer service. The chips and hot sauce was excellent. The roasted peppers gave the hot sauce the flavor I love when eating real Mexican food. The flour and corn tortillas were homemade (made to order at that). It all went well with our chicken and beef fajitas accompanied with great tasting beans and rice. It was our luck to come across this great place. Hope you enjoy your visit as much as we did.

When you look back at the kitchen you see the lady rolling the totillas by hand. Can get better than that.
Clean dining room and smiling faces from all the staff. Good food fresh ingredients.

We went to Taqueria Hernandez today. We sat for 10+ mins before they took our drink order. We ordered 2 teas and 3 lemonades. When we got our drinks, the 3 of us who ordered lemonades all agreed that the lemonades were not sweet. We tried adding sugar to them to make it sweeter but it was not working. We asked the waitress if she could switch them out for sweet tea. The waitress informed us they didn’t have enough tea to give everyone teas. Mind you this was 11 am…they close as 2. So what did they expect to do for 3 hours? Anyways we decided to get sodas instead. Time passes and we get our food. When the waitress comes she has red salsa in her hands as well which we had not asked for. She goes to give us the red salsa but then saw we already had green and takes it back. I personally like the red salsa more so I said, “Well I will take red.” She then acted as if she couldn’t understand me. I kindly said nevermind and she walked away sending someone else to the table. The other waitress asked us if we needed anything. We told her red salsa and napkins. She said they didn’t have any red salsa…mind you we had all just seen a bowl full of red salsa in the previous womens hands. We were respectful and didn’t argue. We just said ok thank you. It wasn’t about the salsa it was the fact that she lied to us about not having it. We then started to look around and noticed that new people were coming in and getting several more than 3 teas brought to them. Not once did the waitress come and ask us if we needed anything besides her initially bringing us our food. The food was delicious though. Tortillas were extra fresh. Even though the food was good, I will probably never go back. If they are that cheap that they lie to people that they are out of something so that they can save it for someone else, makes me think they are so cheap that they are probably reusing old food to be cheap as well. Never again!

First time there, had a hard time in parking lot because it’s small and with mom in a wheel chair found it difficult to enter because someone had parked their over sized truck crooked by entrance. Food was ok, not much of a selection due to us being recommended to eat there. Waitress was good and gave us good service.

Average breakfast tacos at best and they got our order completely wrong despite reading the order back to us over the phone and then they were rude when we called to let them know. We tried this place because Su Casa was really busy, but they are obviously really busy for a reason. We will continue to give our business to Su Casa.
