Me and my boyfriend want here for the first time the other day. Definitely by far one of our favorite places to eat now. The pho was delicious. It was super flavorful. The prices are great in the quality of food is as well. The service was great too. Definitely worth going.

I can not express how happy we are to have found Red Envelope! The service was attentive and friendly. The chef/ owner? Checked in on us before and after the meal, and was so kind.
The atmosphere is cozy and comfortable.
The food is out of this world! I had pad Thai. Beautiful, fresh, and so different from the cloying heavy peanut butter based tastes I have found elsewhere. The Thom Kha Kai was the best I’ve ever had. So rich and flavorful, but bright with herbal zest. The egg rolls were crispy and delicious.
We will most definitely return.
Parking to get there is a little difficult, but trust me it is more than well worth it. You’ll be so glad you went!

I heard about the red envelope through a friend of a friend… Yes , I decided to give it a try for the first time.. I cannot say enough good things about this restaurant.. The minute I walked in , I felt at home. I was greeted with a smile. The seating and decor are on point. I Ordered the crab ragoons and steamed pork dumplings….I have e to give the food a 10 out of 10. It smelled good.It tasted fresh. I was beyond impressed and can’t wait to order again

Delicious!!! I came in on a rainy cold day – jasmine tea warmed me up, I had the dumplings, pad thai w/ chicken and shrimp, and Thai fried rice w/ chicken – I added chopped peanuts for that textural dimension – absolutely delicious. Literally one of the best fried rices I’ve ever had. So good I got an additional order to go to take home for breakfast the next morning.

We regularly get take-out from Res Envelope, and the food is consistently delicious. The service is also excellent and friendly. My one and only complaint about Red Envelope is the paltry amount of rice they include. It is about 1/2 what you would get from most restaurants, and is usually not enough for the full meal. Tonight I got a dinner portion with extra protein, and got a very small container of rice, the same as I would get with a lunch portion. To get a standard amount, I need to pay extra, which seems like a lot if you are already paying 18.00 for a meal. Please consider including larger rice portions.

We love this place !!! This is one the BEST restaurants in coastal Maine. My boyfriend and I always come here for a special meal together, driving hours out of our way. The food is incredibly fresh, good quality, and the service is just wonderful. They are always so kind. We always get the Tai Phô, which is the traditional Vietnamese beef noodle soup made with bone broth, rare steak, bean sprouts, basil, and rice noodles. If you haven’t had phô yet, you’re missing out on one of the most healing and magical foods on the planet. It is light, aromatic, fresh, savory, and complex. Great for a cold day, it will actually heal your soul. We also get the banh mi and dumplings to share, and it’s truly such good comfort food. The prices you can’t beat— honestly everything mid coast can be so expensive, but this place is not, and the incredible quality and flavor you receive is just always so worth it. Thank you, Red Envelope, for always being so wonderful.

I stopped by this place earlier today and found it to be a charming family-owned restaurant. It was clean, with friendly service. We had the Vietnamese noodle soup aka pho, and Thai iced tea. Both were refreshing and flavorful. We enjoyed our lunch and it’s great to see a Vietnamese restaurant in a small town like Bath! Check them out if you’re in the area.

Thank you so much for my gluten free vegan takeout! 🙂 I wanted to leave a few reviews… I am moving to Bath and so excited that I will be able to eat your food! Thank you for having great prices too! I am moving up from Massachusetts. The atmosphere was great. It was intimate but lively, Service was great. The woman at the cash register was so friendly! My salad, spring rolls, vegetables, and rice were delicious! My photo doesn’t do it justice. I was eating in the car later that evening driving but it was very good!
I just saw they even called as we were running late. I wanted to try to see North Bath and just walk my dog briefly before getting the food and we had ordered it like in 15 minutes and just making sure it was ready and I was okay! Thank you!! Excited to be your neighbor!!!
