Reviews
While it offers a familiar and comforting taste of Asian-inspired food, it falls short of authentic Chinese cuisine.
I opted for the plate option with honey sesame chicken and chow mein. The honey sesame chicken was overly sweet and drowned out the individual ingredients.
The chow mein, while generous in portion, lacked the depth and complexity of traditional Chinese noodles. The noodles were thick and had a gummy texture, similar to ramen, but were bland and lacked the wok-charred flavour (wok hei) that characterizes authentic Chinese cooking.
The rangoons were a pleasant surprise, with a unique shape and a creamy cream cheese filling. The fortune cookies were a fun touch.
Additionally, I requested a side of stir-fried vegetables, which were flavorful and had a strong garlic taste.
While Panda Express offers a satisfying and convenient option for those seeking a taste of Asian cuisine, it’s important to note that it’s a Westernized interpretation.
Service: Staff, looked and acted like they were slaves – not one smile.
Food: White rice was good, though I order only one order of rice (I can’t eat 2 orders) yet I am always overcharged for 2 orders. The Orange Chicken was so overcooked and hard, ONLY 2 PIECES WERE EDIBLE. The Veggie Spring Roll was overdone and tasted like it was dugged out of the trash.
The only dish that was edible, not overcooked was the Honey Walnut Shrimp. Soft, firm, fresh.
WILL NOT RETURN WITH CRAPPY FOOD, CRAPPY SERVICE
