I’m shocked that my $8 latte was only half full. Every time I visit this place, there’s a long line, and even when I order ahead, I still have to wait for my drink to be made after I arrive.

I truly respect the hard work that goes into this job, and I understand that mornings can get extremely busy. Mistakes happen — we’re all human.

However, I was disappointed with my short cortado this morning. I paid extra to get the taste I wanted, but the drink was off, and I had to force myself to finish it.

Please pay closer attention to the details of the orders. The experience you hand over in that cup sets the tone for the rest of someone’s day.

It was clearly a busy morning for you all, but consistency matters.

I am a regular here and I live in the area. I come to this location at least 5 times a week. Everyone is super friendly (usually) The sweet gentleman Adrian, knows my order by heart which is always appreciated. As I wait for my drinks at the end, no matter what location, I always buy multiple cold drinks and grab myself a sticker for the top to prevent spillage in the car. I got spoken to today by a gentleman (sassy) and told me in a very nasty tone that I am “not allowed to do that.” And repeated it multiple times as if I didn’t respectfully acknowledge his scorning in the first place. First of all, offer that to people walking out with multiple drinks instead of having it sit there available to be reached. Secondly, there is a way to speak to people, especially loyal customers. The people in this neighbor have waited a long time for a local Starbucks. This gentleman was unnecessarily rude. Put up a sign or relocate the stickers and adjust your attitude buddy. I’m old enough to be your mother. Ocean Avenue location is where it’s at. The stickers are right there for anyone who needs it to grab, and no one is scolded like a child. Corporate, teach your staff how to speak to people. Especially loyal customers.

Ordered online. Go into the store 10 minutes later and the food is warm and ready and the drinks have an hour wait. I’m sorry if you can’t get something out for an hour. Why are you serving food without the beverages? That makes no sense and what on Earth is going on there. That drinks take an hour to make. One of the other customers said. Oh yeah, this is common here. I never had this experience at any other Starbucks. I don’t know what the problem is at this one but I’m not going to be frequenting this location

So I came in and got a hot chocolate and put the order in at 8:43…I had a hair appt and 9:00 next door. I had to leave with no drink because I couldn’t wait anymore. Why should you ever be waiting for a drink for more than 15 mins?! I had to tell another customer my name and what the drink was and she could have it. THAT SUCKS! ordering here in person or on the app is no different, staff is not friendly probably because they are ALWAYS understaffed & overwhelmed. management needs to do better for their employees as far as staffing this is a very busy location. most times ordering at medford just to avoid waiting 20+ mins for a mobile app order.

The yaphank location is hit or miss sometimes especially on a Saturday morning. How can they only have 2 people making drinking for all these ppl coming in and mobile orders etc etc and one person on cashier not helping at all. I’ll give them 4 and half stars on making the drinks bc they are super good. But some of the staff can be rude and sarcastic. I wanted to get some point on my starbucks app , and I already purchased my drink , so while I was standing waiting 25 minutes, I figured i could ask if they can scan my app so I can get points. One of the girls today on 10/11/25 showed she couldn’t ve bothered with answering my question about scanning after a purchase. And she looked at me like ” nah bro” you can’t do that and was very rude and sarcastic. I understand it gets super busy here and its not easy making all different drinks. But they need to hire more people for weekend mornings and not just leave it to 2 people making drinks, and you need a little more helpful staff members!!

Absolute HORRIBLE i don’t know why you have the nerve to give me nothing of what i asked for when you just opened. I don’t want even want to drink the drink. I PAID for extra caramel drizzle and you give me nothing. This small grande was 8 Dollars because of all of the caramel and cinnoman i like in it and you gave me nothing?? The first 2 photos is what i got and the following photos are the same exact order from a different location. Maybe you should stop being cheap and give me what i PAID for the first time. I suggest going to a different starbucks location. EDIT: This has happens multiple times it’s very aggravating when i don’t have time in the morning to go back in after my husband brings it out. I shouldn’t have to hope they make the drink right when they always forget some part of my order.
