My friend’s choice was crispy chicken with veggies – he said it was extremely overcooked and he couldn’t chew it! It was hard and dry like a stone. He also left his food unfinished, even though he was very hungry.
We both had been in Thailand, we know exactly how their food tastes, that’s why we love it, but this place is very disappointing.
Guys, respectfully, You need to learn how to cook. Asap.
This was lunch on a Sunday afternoon and it wasn’t very busy inside so we got our food pretty quickly.
I am very interested in coming back for dinner at some point, because it looks like they have live music from time to time. I am very impressed from the recording that was playing on their TV.
June 16, 2024 Update: we went back for dinner and just loved the live jazz performance! I especially l9ved the trumpeter, his solos, and the motifs / reference to others songs that he discreetly played while doing his solo. The food was amazing too!
So we were able to sit down anywhere we wanted and we enjoyed the live singing that anyone that has the courage to go up and sing can.
The food was good. The spicy basil was really good and lots of flavor. The fried egg I would have want the yoke runny . The fried rice needed more seasoning or something.
Over all it was good.
The dim sum they are super small. I can go to T4 u and get dim sum 2 of them half of price what I paid which it was $8.
The shrimp roll it was different thin layer only with shrimp. I think it was $9 maybe not to sure. Would I buy it again? No.
The ladies were working hard they were nice. They just gave us the wrong straws since we were not able to drink up the jelly’s lol.
Do I recommend this place?? Yes! I do!
I also really appreciated the simple menu organization – lots of good solid choices but not a million things; all the classics you’d expect without the overwhelm. Boba was really good too! (I got Thai iced tea to try it this first time time and I thought it was good – sweet, but not sickly sweet like some can be.)
It wasn’t crowded, the service was good, and the food came out really fast. Definitely recommend, and we will absolutely be back!
(Door dash order but it made me so mad i had to come and repeat my review)
The egg rolls were delicious, and my red curry with shrimp was very flavorful. My friends had the drunken noodle with chicken and pad see ew with fried tofu. Both dishes looked great, and they said they enjoyed them.
I would definitely come back am adding it to my list of favorite Thai spots in Sacramento!
As an added bonus, the food and service are very good! It’s a friendly, family run business.
