We where just traveling through on our way home to Iowa from vacation and stumbled on to this delicious place! Happily greeted when we walked in the door. Had the cosmopolitan which was made perfectly! Food was great! Loved the tomato bisque. Zaylen was excellent waiter and on the spot with refills and services.

The food was very bland had no flavor the broccoli was hard and nasty and same with the steak no flavor and cooked uneven. The only good thing was the fries. And don’t get me started with the so called birthday treat…

Got the $40 steak and seafood meal. Comes with steak, shrimp, and potatoes.
The shrimp was the best I’ve ever had, but I only got three pieces of shrimp. And they weren’t big pieces. Quite disappointing being a “steak and seafood” meal.
Potatoes were pretty bland, not a lot of flavor. And half the plate was potatoes, no one likes potatoes that much.
The sauce on the steak was good but the steak itself was not great. Ordered it medium well, therefor I take some responsibility for ordering it a little on the dry side but steak should still have moisture in it if it’s cooked right. My steak was very dry and very chewy, almost like it had a lot of fat in it. Tasted like they got it from the discount section at the hyvee meat market right beside them.
For $40 dollars the meal was very disappointing. Quality was not there at all, if it only cost me 20-25 I wouldn’t have been as disappointed.

A really nice dining location. Good selection of Drinks and Food. When I went they were doing a “Taste of New Orleans” with Cajun delicacies as Specials. Regular Menu is diverse and tasty. I had their “Ranch Burger” which was very tasty and filling.

I always have an amazing time at Minervas. Good food and amazing staff. I really enjoyed the whiskey and dinner event. I will definitely do this again. The food was absolutely amazing. Salad was my favorite, but I love a good salad. I had to get a to go box for my chicken and mashed potatoes so I could have room for dessert.

We had a very large party which ended up being even bigger than anticipated. The staff were very accommodating, and server did a great job with all of the separate bills and continuous attention. The food and drinks were delicious too of course!

Went in around 3 pm. Only one or two tables had customers. No one greeted us, we greeted the guys behind the bar. Sat near a window and fought flies the entire time. Service was incredibly incredibly slow. The staff disappeared often. I was not impressed with the service or cleanliness. ☹️

My husband and I had an excellent time dining at Minerva’s. The food was absolutely delicious and the atmosphere was something you don’t often find in Sioux City. It was a high class experience but not at a high class price. We can’t wait to come back here again to try something different next time.

Super Amazing. Perhaps top 3 for sure restaurant with excellent service and nice quality food menu and drinks. This place is sophisticated and cozy and very very inexpensive for the great quality and service. I wouldn’t be bothered, if they would have charged a bit more. This place is “THAT”!
