Nice little place to stop for something fried and delicious. I got the chicken filet (which is a chicken sandwich with mayo and lettuce) with fries, and my wife got the two-cheeseburgers-for-$3 deal, along with an order of mac & cheese fries. The food was very fresh tasting, and the fries were crispy and delicious. The mac & cheese bites were very good as well, but you only get 5 of them for $2.50, so it didn’t exactly feel like a great value for those.
The vibe is pretty chill (as the name might suggest). Country music playing over the speakers. Very odd decor. But I would come back again if I were ever in the area. Give it a try (and specifically, you’ve gotta try those fries; they’re great)!

The people that work there are amazing!!! Absolutely amazing personal service, they’re very talkative and great people. The food was delicious! The pork tenderloin is one of the best tenderloins I have ever eaten, and I would highly recommend. The onion rings were also great! It’s an amazing little place and I would suggest stopping by if you’re in the area!

Had a very long drive from Adams County to go pick up a friend. He was like we have to get some food. I missed Jacksonville somehow but ended up in Winchester and picked Peppermill. It was definitely worth missing Jacksonville. Workers were very friendly and made great suggestions. Fresh food was made gave us a nice place to get out stretch our legs and the slushy I had was amazing perfect for the hot day. I dont travel much but Peppermill will always be a place I will go back to. Lots of families with kids very relaxing and safe atmosphere. Great job Peppermill Grill & Chill.

This place used to be amazing. Went in with my mom about a year ago and there was a noticeable difference in the taste and quality of the food as well as the service we received. Everything was absolutely terrible. We just decided to not return again and leave it at that. Fast forward to last night, I come home from work to my son super ill! Vomiting and so on, he cannot hold anything down and the only single thing he did…. He ate at the Peppermill. He said that after he ate his food he started feeling strange and by the time I got off work he’s bed ridden. I do want to say that this place used to be so amazing. What happened?
