This was our first time coming here and we had a great experience. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. They took the time to explain the menu and made sure we had everything we needed. The customer service was excellent and the food was delicious. This has quickly become our favorite restaurant in Hobbs. Highly recommend! ✨

We love coming here. We always get amazing service. The waiter and waitress always remember us and everything we ask for. We have always had a great experience. Our food is always perfect. I love that we can have a calm date night without it being too loud. This is one of my favorite places.

A solid 3 stars for Koi. The food was ‘good’ by US standards, and does the job if you’re looking forward to a change of scenery from usual US fare. Service was a bit wobbly with starters appearing after the mains. Portion sizes are however excellent so no issues with value for money. The restaurant was clean and tidy and everyone was friendly.

Food was savory and delicious! Beef was fresh and tasty. Vegetables fresh and crisp. Wonderful egg drop soup, rice cooked perfectly, and the portions are huge!

I had a great experience here! Despite it being peak time, we were seated quickly. The peanuts and spicy cucumber were a perfect snack while we browsed the menu. Our server was fantastic—drinks arrived promptly, and she patiently helped us navigate the hotpot options.
The hotpot portions are huge, definitely enough for one person. We initially went for the spicy flavor but weren’t fans of the special peppercorn. Our server kindly brought us some spicy chili oil/paste to mix into the pork bone broth—it was amazing! We’ll definitely be back for more.
I loved the food overall, but I wouldn’t recommend the soup…it didn’t look or taste great, so you can skip it. That said, the service and decoration were excellent. Don’t hesitate to give this place a try!

Wow. So impressed the place was a really nice on the inside. The staff were all really nice. The owner came to greet us, ensured we enjoyed our meal. Had the spicy hotpot. It didn’t disappoint. My wife and son both had the spicy ramen. Really good. Be sure to come by and give these guys a try. Great local place so much better than a chain restaurant.

Not sure what to make of this place. Some of the food was good, others not so, but it was more the disorganised way the food came out. Rice was delivered way before the mains arrived, gyozas out last. There was a big problem in translation too as our server seemed to struggle with English.

I’m going to leave 2 stars because Koi has lost its touch and i hope they see this review and fix things. In the beginning the food was great but as of the last few months the quality has become very poor. The meal prep is being made to stretch to far. What i mean by that is the food is definitely prepared on a particular day then served throughout the week and they are serving the food to late after being cooked. The fried chicken has become so hard that even the meat is hard and cuts the roof of your mouth. I hope the owners see this and fix things and will gladly update this review.
That being said i will say this about other food items. My mom absolutely loves the spicy cucumber soup. She gets it every few days and she is always pleased.

We had Kung Pao and chicken fried rice. Very well prepared and fresh. Atmosphere was clean and modern. Service was very fast and friendly. Lots of food, one order can feed two people. Highly recommend
