This place is slept on. Hoboken’s not known for its Chinese food, and this spot has been our go to for month. Food is always cooked right.

We like this place. It’s going to taste healthier but it scratches the itch for Chinese food and it tastes good. You can tell it’s lighter, less greasy, easy to digest, less guilty for takeout.

I have NEVER in my life ordered boneless ribs and just got DRY meat! Where is the sauce?!? And NOT the 2 duck sauces and 3 soy I got with 3 platters thankfully I got the sweet and sour chicken with the most WATERY s&s sauce in the WORLD that I could share onto the other two platter of ribs. And fried rice WHERE? I got white rice with meat thrown into it. GROSS $45 worth of food including delivery 4 blocks away and for what? I should have WALKED to my usual place and got meals we could enjoy. First and LAST time I will ever eat here. Such a waste of money

I work in the Monroe Center and eat at Lo Fatt weekly. The Wonton Soup is a must have. No gummy hard noodles here, soft wonton dumplings that fall apart so easily.

General Tso’s & Seven Vegetable Chicken are a mainstay too. The owner, Danielle, is always pleasant and cheerful and I enjoy catching up with her when I pick up my order.

The most consistent and healthy Chinese food in Hoboken. Hands down!!

Bear in mind this place claims to make “healthy” chinese food. That said, it’s good. If you expect your traditional american chinese loaded with sodium, food coloring, and sauces with artificial flavors, you will be sorely disappointed. This food isn’t bad at all given that I eat it, it’s tasty, and I don’t feel horrible afterwards. All things considered, this is a solid spot.

I must say,the last Chinese food I got while visiting the U.S made me literally sick with the amount of MSG used in Chinatown NYC. This year, my friends drove me to this LoFattChow(cool name) Chinese restaurant. Took us 45 minutes to get there but worth it. Fresh, low salt, light, non greasy, and without batter. Many standard dishes but many dishes I would not normally see. This is not your typical Chinese takeout just offering Chicken Fried rice/wings and egg rolls. I’d describe it as a diverse mix of traditional and higher end authentic cuisine with a healthy concept in mind. Mixture of China Mandarin and Hong Kong Cantonese tastes to choose from.
Tasted just like the Chinese food we are used to in Toronto’s multiple Chinese fine restaurants. Lady owner is extremely nice and intelligent. Nice to see someone like this succeed. See you again one day lady.

Very healthy and delicious food! I think some of the reviews here don’t understand that this place does their best to serve healthy Chinese food. I’ve been coming here for a few years and it’s always a go to when I don’t have time to make dinner.

WARNING! Do not eat here unless you want to risk getting FOOD POISONING! Got the general tso’s chicken and then spent 36 hours severely, severely sick! Terrible experience. I’d suggest picking another Chinese takeout option in Hoboken. This might be “low fat” but it’s clearly low quality and not safe!
