I love Uno Mas! We go fairly frequently but I hadn’t been in a couple months and was surprised by the new lunch combos. I got the 2 taco w/ a side for $12 (beef and carnitas) and holy smokes these tacos may be street size but they put at least a pound of meat. I was so full just on the two tacos and couldn’t even eat the side. They also have a lunch paring a $10 house margarita that was also delightful.
Good job Uno Mas for changing up the menu a bit and bringing some more affordable “lighter” options.

The chips tasted like they were cooked in oil past it’s prime; they had kind of a burnt taste. The salsa was very smoky. I got a chicken and steak taco with mesa waffle fries. The steak taco and the waffle fries were very good. The chicken taco didn’t have a lot of flavor. Huge portions of meat on both tacos. My husband got the 509 Burrito and said it was okay. He said the fries were very mushy.

Came in for trivia and what a fun spot. We had a reservation and it was perfectly set for us when we arrived. Kat took such good care of us. Her and her husband Mace make an awesome team. Kat made me a modified margarita that was fantastic. We all ordered something different and we all enjoyed our food. I ordered a few different things to have leftovers, and wow, the quesadilla was huge and delicious. Tender steak, great dips, and the waffle fries have such a great crunch from the masa. We will definitely be back.

I got the quesadilla with chicken and my partner got the 509 burrito. Large portion sizes, so the price is definitely worth the amount of food. Our server was really nice and had good customer service. We also heard him say he was a Sagittarius which is always an added bonus.

I have been wanting to try this for quite a while and I’m so glad we stopped in. This is the cutest little place with such good food. The service was great. There was a lot of street parking and I think parking lot also. It feels like a safe part of town as well. We got the chips with salsa and guac and queso. The salsa was amazing with such great flavor. We also got the elote corn which was really good. We got fish tacos, carnitas tacos, a burrito. All of them were really tasty. We were seated quickly and the server came by quick as well. All staff we came into contact with were friendly. We got way too much food and left stuffed. They did tell us they have events and a DJ sometimes outside and the outside patio was really inviting and nice. I am super happy we tried this place as I am really picky with Mexican food being a San Diego girl. This has a different kind of vibe and style than authentic Mexican food but it is definitely yummy. We will be back again for sure.

Looooove this place! Everyone working here is great, food is amazing and the atmosphere is so fun! Great during the summer, sitting on the patio taking in the beautiful weather. If u havent been here, GO!
