@lydieats A gorgeous space for afternoon tea! The hotel feels super vintage and takes you back to the old Hollywood era. Rendezvous Court embraces similar vibes and you get to enjoy tea with a fountain centerpiece and live piano music The bites are decent. Sandwiches are freshly made and plenty of colorful sweets. The scones are kinda hard tho. Rly good service and plenty of tea refills!

An absolutely amazing place for an afternoon tea experience! Went here for my bday treat and left so happy! The food was nice, fresh, and plenty. The tea is fantastic, and they refill if you ask. We were offered champagne that also had refills.
The hotel is super luxurious and the customer service is amazing. Highly recommend!

Afternoon tea at the Biltmore Hotel is an experience to have! The incredible interior architecture, tea and scones, bottomless champagne, and the most welcoming service was impeccable. They sure outdid themselves when hosting this event every Saturday. All the girlies who attend look so lovely! I am so happy this experience is back in full swing. I took my mom for a pre Mother’s Day celebration and she absolutely enjoyed herself.

7/19/19 Nice for a simple lunch, also! I chose the “protein box” and added an apple and soda. Good break from the day’s hysteria.
Opens at 6:00am, perfect serene place for a simple breakfast before a hectic day. Spectacular historic lobby, sounds of falling water from the fountain…very nice! Counter service is available in corner of lobby, then take your food to wherever you’d like to sit. There are couches, arm-chairs, and plenty of coffee tables.

It is a pretty location, but the afternoon tea here is bad. There are better places in LA with better food, better prices, and tremendously better service. If you are just here for photos, as I said, it is indeed pretty…
Maybe it used to be great in the past? But I had high expectations for this place as I travel the US in search of great tea service, the 2nd star is only due to the fact that solo tea enjoyers are allowed (I would have said welcome, but it seems no one is “welcome” here)

I am very happy afternoon tea is back at the iconic Biltmore after a 4 year hiatus due to Covid. The rendezvous court is an ideal setting with its architecture, a water fountain and classical violin music. The sweets and savories are some of the best I’ve tasted – you can tell they are freshly made. The prepaid pre fixed menu of $95 is delicious and worth every penny. I go to a lot of teas and this is one of the best. Saturdays only.

Isabel at the counter is a doll, so kind and attentive she made sure my meal was just to my liking. I will admit the food standard itself could have been better for the price but I’m aware that business is pricey

I am a self-proclaimed coffee enthusiast and the espresso was absolutely amazing. We also shared a chocolate croissant and a chorizo wrap, both of which were absolutely delicious. I sat in the area for a while, working and the staff was friendly and helpful. They offered me a refill on my espresso and cleared my plates for me. They were so amazing and made it a great, relaxing place to get some hard work done.

Afternoon tea was a disappointment lovely atmosphere but sandwiches tasted rather stale and dry. Scones were dry. I had a much nicer tea at Butchart gardens for 1/2 the cost
