One of the best places I’ve ever been to for the most delicious Banh Mi! My friend and I drove 35 minutes to order their Banh Mi Chao , Banh Mi Xiu Mai (meatball Banh mi) , their Egg AND Salted coffee, and just because everything was good – we placed a second order for a Grilled Beef Banh Mi after! It’s my new favorite place for the best Vietnamese food ever <33 the cafe is so cutesy as well , you can tell there’s love there

The restaurant is clean, and the atmosphere is really nice for a quick bite. They don’t have tons of options, which makes it super easy to pick a light, on-the-go meal. We ended up getting the bánh mì grilled pork, steak and eggs, fish balls, and salted egg yolk cake! The food there is really great tasting! They use really fresh-baked french bread that’s perfectly made. Iced Vietnamese coffee is always amazing there – it’s not too strong or too sweet, just a perfect balance for a quick brunch.

Actually my second time here. Wanted to try their Bo Ne which is the Vietnamese version of steak and eggs. Theirs come with pate and a fresh baguette! So delicious! And a coconut coffee to balance out the savory! Must try!

Cute, locally owned Vietnamese Cafe. First time trying the egg coffee and butter pound cake with pork floss, which were pretty tasty.

Not a lot of dessert options.

Wish they would serve the drink in actual dish ware. Simply because the presentation would add more to the experience and aestatic.

The egg coffee was decent but overly sweet for my taste. Bo Ne’s steak was tough. The banh mi chao was tasty, but I wish it had been served hot; mine was lukewarm. We may visit again if we’re in the area, but we wouldn’t go out of our way to eat there.

I recently visited Bon Bon’s Cakery & Café in Fairfax, VA, and was thoroughly impressed. I called in to order some food in the morning, and everything was ready promptly when I arrived. The café itself has a modern yet cozy vibe, blending traditional Vietnamese elements with a contemporary touch. The staff was extremely friendly, making the experience welcoming.

I ordered two dishes: xôi mặn (savory sticky rice) and bánh mì xíu mại (meatball sandwich). They only had one xôi mặn left, so I opted for bò kho (beef stew) as my second dish, which turned out to be an excellent surprise—rich, flavorful, and hearty. The egg coffee was also a standout; smooth and rich, it was a perfect way to start the day.

What I love most about this place is how they combine authentic Vietnamese flavors with modern touches. The menu is diverse, offering something for everyone, whether you’re in the mood for a meal, snack, or coffee. The prices are also very reasonable, especially given the quality of the food.

Overall, I couldn’t be happier with my experience, and I will definitely be coming back regularly. Bon Bon’s Cakery & Café is a gem in Fairfax, blending great food, friendly service, and a welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommend!

It was a really nice cafe. I tried Coconut coffee which is the colder version of coffee and Banh Mi Chay. It’s a vegetarian option with Avocados and Eggs. Both were really delicious! The atmosphere was good and they do have outdoor seating. Overall,I had a good time.

We just discovered a great breakfast place in the area that we would like to add to our list! We went there this morning and were happy to see they open at 7 a.m. Upon entering, we were pleasantly surprised by the welcoming ambiance of the place. The interior was decorated with plenty of cute little plants, toys, snacks from Vietnam, dessert displays, and other elements that added to the place’s charm. The owner greeted us with a smile, and we instantly felt comfortable.

We ordered Vietnamese Milk Coffee (Cafe Sua Da) and Egg Coffee (traditional Vietnamese coffee topped with whipped egg yolk cream). Both drinks were delicious. We also wanted to indulge in sweet treats and ordered egg yolk cake and caramel mousse. The egg yolk cake was a sponge cake with bits of salted egg yolk and dried chicken floss on top of a condensed milk cream. The combination of sweetness and saltiness was perfect and not overly sweet. The caramel mousse was creamy and subtly sweet, which we enjoyed.

As their food was only available from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., we opted for Banh Mi Sandwiches, which were also great. The fresh veggies added crunchiness to the perfectly seasoned beef and pork served in Vietnamese baguette sandwiches.

We had a wonderful breakfast experience and plan to return to try other food items soon.
