The health-oriented concept is certainly good, but the content seems to lack sincerity.
The interior design and other promotions make all the ingredients look healthy, yet I felt the explanation about the actual use of those ingredients was insufficient. Compared to the protein drinks, the coffee felt somewhat neglected—the taste was just like plain water.
The coffee beans were ground too coarsely, so instead of a proper extraction, it tasted like they had simply been dipped in hot water for a short while before being packaged.
As for the oatmeal, the temperature was far too low, and I wondered whether the strawberries and bananas used as toppings were truly organic. The sandwich was overly ordinary, and the pre-made avocado had no texture, just mashed into a lump. The staff, too, served in a mechanical manner, which made the passion for promoting health seem absent.
I believe this place needs improvement. Not many people eat health food every single day, so the best option seems to be buying organic products from Whole Foods Market and cooking simple meals at home. As a second-best choice, going to McDonald’s once in a while actually feels more sensible.
I acknowledge that this is my personal opinion, but I also recognize the objectivity of my evaluation.

Kure Superfood Cafe is a great spot for a healthy smoothie! The person who took our order was super helpful at making a picking out a delicious smoothie. I ordered the Meal in a Cup because I love chocolate and peanut butter and this smoothie was amazing and had 40g of protein which was perfect for our post hike recovery. Would definitely recommend checking them out!

Loving the plant based menu. Stopped in today and tried The Breakfast Sandwich with a whole wheat English muffin, a Just Egg pattie, a slice of cheddar cheese, avocado smash with micro greens and everything but the bagel spices.

The breakfast sandwich is very fresh, liked the Just Egg pattie with cheese.

Overall, quite good.

Fresh juice made to order and super tasty treats. Stopped by while waiting for my train and could smell the goodies from a block away.
Super chill vibe and good music and atmosphere. Seems like a good spot to have a quick healthy breakfast. Also has free wifi

Great place for a healthy bite to go.
Breakfast options are good (tried “The” breakfast sandwich) and may be in the small side but staying in a goos bang for the buck ratio, portion side may be something good if paring with an smoothie which can be configured without any problem.
Service was really nice and attentive and the atmosphere was good but felt it was mostly for waiting for the order rather than dine in (visited on Wednesday around noon).

My favorite smoothie place in Portland and I couldn’t be happier that this location opened up in my neighborhood. The Green Kingdom, Kid Kyoto, and Extra Mike are my go-to smoothies, but you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. The Mission Bowl is also delicious and so is the Golden Elixir if you are looking for something warm.

Very pleased to have finally visited Kure! I walk by the Pearl location several times a week, and had always been curious. I finally stopped by last week, and again yesterday, and ordered lunch/dinner bowls both times. The bowls were fresh and delicious and the service was prompt and friendly. I will be back again soon and plan to try a breakfast bowl next.

Kure is my go-to spot for smoothies and açaí bowls.
Everything on the menu is packed with quality ingredients and amazing flavor—it’s the kind of place you feel good about, especially if you’re into healthy eating. My go-to order (before or after the gym) is The Builder—I add dates for a little extra sweetness. My wife is obsessed with the PB & Awesome.

Their liquid Sunshine is exactly the name. It’s so refreshing & always quench my thirst. Its definitely my go to drink with them. My husband teases me about needing to try other drinks, which I do but it’s such my tride & true. I can’t help it! Haha. The staff is always so friendly & the space us clean & relaxing.

Great Acai Bowls, shame most of the other Acai bowl places around the area taste like sludge.
