The food was alright. Not worth the prices IMO—fresh, sort of flavorful, and seemed well-prepared. The service, however, was just okay. It wasn’t terrible, but it lacked the attentiveness and warmth that would have elevated the experience. A little more effort from the staff would’ve made a big difference.

Wonderful experience. Great outdoor seating.

Karen is absolutely amazing! She was our bartender last night and went above and beyond to make sure we had an incredible experience. She’s incredibly attentive, always checking in to see if we needed anything, and her knowledge of the drinks menu is impressive. Karen truly listens to what you want and crafts each drink to perfection. Her friendly demeanor and warm smile made us feel right at home. We can’t wait to come back and request Karen as our bartender again! 10/10 would recommend!

I was taken here as a distraction while my friend is in the ICU, barely alive. They took so long to seat us and even longer to bring out our food. They demanded our credit card so we couldn’t leave before the food got here because they’d charge us anyway. I have been here for over an hour waiting for my extremely overpriced food. They also add 20% gratuity for their incompetence and lack of function which is absolutely disgusting. I just want to go back to the hospital. I can’t even talk about the heaviest thing in the world without them interrupting for the most basic things. There are only three other tables seated.

We went to the Broadmoor last night to see the Christmas decorations and decided to have drinks and small plates in the Hotel Bar. The hostess told us 20 minutes but seated us sooner. We ordered the Wagyu sliders based on the menu/online description and pictures. They were a HUGE disappointment. The buns were charred, the burgers were dry and overcooked, and the various toppings were no where to be seen. Just some very wilted lettuce and traces of cheese. For $33, I expected more. We were very disappointed in the food.

Located within the Broadmoor property, the bar offered an endless selection of beverages as well as small and large plates and desserts. Plan ahead though, they say the wait for a table is about 1-1.5 hours. We were told an hour, but pleasantly, we only waited 22 minutes. The decor was rustic old timey. It looked and felt like an exclusive men’s lodge or club. The staff were friendly and efficient.

They brought nuts and snacks to our table once seated, which was exactly what I needed with my “Improved Whiskey Cocktail.” We ordered carne asada fries and eagle’s nest ranch wagyu sliders. The carne asada were tender and flavorful. The fries were seasoned and all the condiments just perfected the dish. The wagyu sliders were perfectly cooked and juicy. We paid 200+ (with tip) and it was the best meal we had at the Broadmoor.

The patio view is beautiful. My wife and I got hooked on the Pan Seared Salmon Greek Salad and ate it for lunch 3 days in a row. The craft beer on tap included a very good hazy IPA, and my wife enjoyed the mojito.

I am so impressed with this institution! We have lived here five years and have never made a visit until today. The architecture leading up to The Bar was exquisite. The bar itself had such a great ambiance, and it reminded me of the Titanic. I got a cosmo mocktail that was so good. The burger and the Parmesan fries were so rich and delicious. You have to get the tiramisu! Needless to say, we will be back.

Stopped in to escape a rainy Saturday afternoon. The hotel grounds are stunning and the bar’s outdoor seating views are fantastic. We ordered the meat and cheese board, which was about 50% fruit and 50% meat and cheese. The honey was a standout on the dish particularly as someone who doesn’t typically like honey.

For drinks, they were sold out of a champagne we tried to order so we switched gears to cocktails. I had the Colorado sunset which was a tasty beachy rum drink. We also tried the lemon drop which was fine, and tried to get a French 75 which was a bit of a situation. The first one came out tasting like straight lemon juice, so we sent it back and got a second one that was much better done, but I don’t think they have the right gin selection for a great one or the right bartender for balancing it well.

Staff seemed frazzled but friendly! Garage parking is $25.

My parents and I stopped in for an afternoon drink and snack while touring around Colorado Springs. We sat by the wall of windows on this warm April afternoon overlooking the lake and hotel grounds. The breeze was welcomed as we sipped on our whisky. We saw the pretzel on the menu and absolutely had to have one! We had the best time enjoying each other’s company in this very relaxed setting taking in the hotel surrounds. I will be back at some point; in the meantime, you should definitely stop in for a drink and a relaxing time!
