The food was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. The dish I tried was well-presented and packed with taste. You can really tell they put effort into both the quality of ingredients and the overall experience.

Food: big portions, quality taste! I was pretty satisfied with the meal. We got spicy chicken and the beef teriyaki. Beef was soft but I felt like there was a bigger portion of the chicken. Happy to get both again.

Service: expect to wait as there is usually a line for orders and the food is being made fresh. Highly highly recommend you call first then expect to wait ~15min give or take.

Atmosphere: community posters for events and old magazines to read while you wait. Lots of plants and kind of in an odd place next to a liquor store and gas station.

Overall, I’d come again for a filling casual meal where I’m not in a rush. Solid place on the radar

I ended up here on a recommendation from the barbers next door, and I’m genuinely thankful they pointed me this way.
The man behind the grill has been making teriyaki for over 30 years, and it shows in every bite. No shortcuts, no gimmicks, just perfectly cooked, flavorful teriyaki done the way it’s supposed to be. I got the teriyaki chicken and it was hands down some of the best I’ve ever had. Juicy, smoky, rich sauce, and portions that actually fill you up.
While I was there, a woman came in who said she had moved out of town. She went out of her way to stop here because it’s her favorite spot. That alone tells you everything you need to know. People don’t do that unless a place really means something to them.
This isn’t some trendy place trying to reinvent teriyaki. It’s the kind of neighborhood spot that’s been doing it right for decades and doesn’t need to advertise. You walk in hungry and leave happy. Simple as that.
This is one of those places you’re lucky to have nearby, and now that I’ve found it, I’ll be back regularly. If you’re even thinking about it, stop in and order. You won’t regret it.

Real old school “locals” spot- family run operation. No spots to eat inside really but its okay. The gyoza were very good and the beef was tender. Good portions for price!

The rice was mealy. Waiting area was so very cold.
Plastic containers are cheap. One cracked leaking sweet & sour sauce in bag and elsewhere.
Food flavor was OK.

The food is great but big issue with their containers!! Both times we have gone here, the plastic has melted on the bottom of the container and made a huge mess in the bag, our laps, and car! Plus it wastes part of the food. I wasn’t going to post about it until it happened again today with the sweet and sour chicken. I’m glad the food is hot but they just need to get a different type of take out container that won’t melt and have our food drip out everywhere. Otherwise this is a great teriyaki place. Bring extra napkins and wipes in case this happens to you! Hopefully the business will fix the problem soon. Also they need to get chopsticks! They do not offer/have them at all.

Small, simple family run teriyaki place in the Seattle tradition- exactly as it should be. Good portions for the price- gyoza were fresh and the beef was great!

Large portions. Tasty and cooked fresh.Chicken wasn’t overly fatty like some places. Decent wait. Only three sit down tables- small place. Expect longer waits if busy due to small staff/kitchen. Recommend.

I used to live down the street from here and I miss it so much. The best mom-n-pop shop in the area. Their prices are on point, their food is fabulous, their service isn’t your typical American standard but who cares because they’re not there to be fake. Sweet and sour chicken for the win paired with some gyozas and you’re golden. Their lunch specials are best bang for you buck but do it up!

Yummy. Called order for Beef Fried Rice, Beef Kebab, and Chicken Teriyaki. 30 minutes to make it. Surprised me – delicious chewy white rice, sweet mild white salad dressing, and a balanced zingy Teriyaki sauce.
