I always try to like a restaurant but I’m sorry that I cannot recommend a restaurant that willingly serves subpar food. They only had pork – no beef that night. How do you run out of an entire type of meat? Our Dan Dan noodles came out in a chunk – clearly it wasn’t freshly prepared. It was also sitting in about 3/4 cup of oil. The knife cut noodles tasted like they were drowned in about a cup of ketchup. Rarely do I not want the leftovers. This was one of those times. Im not extremely picky but this was poor food. Maybe their chef was out for the evening. Sadly, this our experience here was no where near that at the other location in Mill Creek.

Food is fantastic.
Had the Tso Chicken and it was so tender it melted in your mouth. Swapped the white rice for chow mien.
The waiter is super friendly to everyone and goes out of his way to make sure you’re happy.

Highly recommend! The food is fresh and delicious. We enjoyed the fried pork buns; beef and broccoli; General Taos chicken, bacon fried rice, walnut shrimp, and Vermilion noodles. Everything was top notch, including our server and his attentiveness. Very impressed.

AMAZING Chinese food – no glaze. Not even gonna lie, this is some of the best Chinese food I’ve had and I wet with my Chinese friend. The flavors are top tier and the portions are FAT and it’s lowkey cheap.
Soooo good

2026 update: No longer Mr Fengs, but they can and will still make anything that was on the old menu. You just have to ask. They made a new menu with really good photos of everything so you know exactly what you’re ordering. Still some of the best Chinese food in the valley. They’ve just added more dumpling and and noodle soup options. The waiter here is SUPER friendly.
(Original review): DELICIOUS and AUTHENTIC food. Everything we’ve had here was some of the best Chinese we’ve had in Utah in a long time. The decor is a bit like a tacky 90’s wedding with all the pinks and purples, but it’s easy to look past it when you get your food. So good. We will definitely be back. Especially at lunchtime for the lunch specials. The entrance is the single door on the North side where the parking lot is, if you’re wondering. It was a bit confusing when we first got there.

Party of two ordered three dishes. Portions were generous. One star was taken off because all the food had a very dark color (see image), which made me a little uneasy. It could just be me being paranoid, but it felt like the dark soy sauce might’ve been used to mask the freshness of the meat. I typically won’t use this much dark soy sauce for home cooking. That said, the flavors were amazing, strong, and a bit too salty. I’d like it more if the salt was lessened. Taste great with rice tho, a lot of rice.
Service was amazing, the staff checked up on us making sure we were enjoying the food.
Hope the color thing does not apply to other food dishes because I will want to return to try other dishes they have.

Probably the best authentic Chinese food place in the valley. I had the hunan style beef, farmhouse flavor bowl, and green beans and they were stellar. Tasted as it would in China. Be warned though, it is spicy.
Very good, humble, authentic Chinese food. Happy to have found a go-to Chinese place.
Edit: came back again to try the mapo tofu, spicy grilled fish and some other dishes. All very good. Dishes don’t look exactly the each time. There seem to have some very slight variations depending on the chef. Flavors are always on point though. Definitely get the farmhouse flavor bowl. It’s their signature dish and my favorite.
Edit 2: black pepper beef and sweet sour spare ribs are really good as well!

the food is not only inauthentic it’s also really unappetizing and i would literally rather go hungry. go somewhere like mom’s kitchen is2g. also this place has no tp in the womens bathroom or napkins on the table and have the audacity to charge $20 an entree. actually not worth anyone’s time or calories

We had very authentic Hunan food here. Ordered spicy fish head which is very flavorful. Braised duck was delicious. Pepper with pig intestine was lovely. Kids also enjoyed chicken katsu. Price was great as well! Highly recommend!

I’ve had this place bookmarked since they opened – and I’d definitely return. It was somewhat difficult to order because of the language barrier, however, that didn’t take away from the server’s friendliness. She was extremely hospitable and tried to do all she could to show that she appreciated my business.
I remember ordering the mushrooms and bok choy dish, however, I can’t remember exactly what my entree was. It’s possible it was the Hunan style stir-fried beef. Regardless, the food was delicious.
One thing to note is that I was disappointed with the state of the restaurant. For a restaurant so new, I was hoping it would have been kept up a bit more, if not just a bit cleaner.
I would recommend this place to anyone.
