We found the restaurant to be very nice. It is small so be sure and make a reservation. The prices are in line with other comparable places. Our diet is Whole Food Plant Based so the menu is limited but you can find a couple items and I’m sure they will accommodate you if you ask. Our staff was excellent, from the maître d’ Madison to our servers Luis & Makayla. All the staff was polite and very attentive to our needs.

Oak & Olive is an eclectic little gem that disguises itself as a coffee shop by day, and a sophisticated bourbon and cocktail bar by night. It reminds me of the little ‘hidden’ bars you would find in Louisville.

Reservations are recommended as it has very limited seating. The ambiance is very inviting, with beautiful but simple decor, reduced lighting and soft music.
You’re immediately greeted by a gracious host that will get you seated. Our waiter was Elijah. Such gentleman! Very personable and very attentive. Our service was impeccable.

The food menu is short and sweet , but offers a great variety. The drinks are creative, made with quality spirits and expertly crafted. I had the Chai me, and The Blacklisted. Both amazing drinks. My boyfriend had the Porch Swing and the Old Fashioned.

The food was flavorful and delicious. We shared the Bacon Wrapped sausage and the Garlic Chicken. The bacon Wrapped sausage was a healthy portion of pimento cheese, sausage and toasted bread, drizzled with hot honey. For the price of $12 it was more than worth it! The Garkic chicken was served on skewers in a bed of the most amazing creamy grits with pecans and a bourbon glaze. The salty flavor of the chicken complemented the sweetness of the grits.

This was our second trip, and we will definitely be back again. If your looking for ‘something different’ to do in Valdosta, this is definitely worth a trip to downtown.

This place had an outstanding atmosphere, its inviting and elegant. Our waiter was excellent as was the chef who prepared our meal..IT WAS UNREAL, I already cant wait to go back. I had the tenderloin & toast and my wife had the raviolis. The tenderloin melted in our mouth. Since this is also a bourbon & martini bar I decided I wanted to try the blacklisted martini and it did not disappoint. To finish the night off we had their tiramisu for desert making my wife’s birthday dinner a huge success. It was the perfect mix of espresso, sweet and creamy. I fear this place will be hard to get a table at in the very near future! 10/10

Oak & Olive has instantly become one of my favorite spots in Valdosta. From the moment you walk in, you can tell this place was created with intention, passion, and a commitment to excellence. The atmosphere is warm, elevated, and perfectly suited for a night out—whether you’re grabbing cocktails with friends or enjoying a full dinner.

The food is phenomenal. The shrimp arrabiata and tenderloin were absolute standouts, cooked to perfection and full of flavor. And the halloumi? Next-level good. You can really taste the quality and care that goes into every dish.

The bar program deserves just as much praise. The espresso martini is top-tier, and the Old Fashioned might be the best in town—smooth, balanced, and crafted with obvious skill.

Most importantly, I’m incredibly proud of the owners for bringing something this special to downtown Valdosta. Oak & Olive fills a much-needed niche and elevates the entire dining scene. Valdosta is lucky to have it.

If you haven’t been yet, go. You’ll be blown away.

What a spectacular find! We were visiting from out of town and happened on this jewel. We were very fortunate to walk in and be seated because it was early, but clearly reservations are the general way to go. Without a 50 page review I can’t tell you all the wonderful things about this place but here goes:
• EXCELLENT staff – maitre d was knowledgeable and welcoming – found our preferences but also recommended excellent drinks outside our comfort zone and we loved them! Our server was attentive and engaged: I cannot have gluten, alcohol, or carbonation and they made me a mocktail that was spectacular without acting like I am the ridiculous customer I am!
• CHEF – absolutely top shelf. Creative menu. While no gluten free menu per se, they generously modified items for me and I am still thinking about that food 3 days later. Still not convinced? The executive chef personally came to our table to see whether we were pleased with our food. We were – incredible! I had beef tenderloin with dijon cream.
• Decor is hip and modern but not pretentious. Lively but not loud and they have a party room.

Great food and even better service! Loved the atmosphere. Although not a bad thing, menu is select and a one pager. Drink menu has wonderful variety.

Can’t wait to return! Looking forward to keep going as it grows! The service was wonderful. My only recommendation would be to get the drinks out a little bit faster if possible. Excited to try the food next time I go. The drinks are, of course, on the pricier side, but they are craft cocktails, which is to be expected ✨ even having a half off wine/beer day or a happy hour might help counter this and bring in more people in the future or increase the amount of drinks that are ordered. All in all, I really appreciate businesses like this opening up in Valdosta!
