I am giving this a top rating because I loved the Stockyard atmosphere and the food was Oh so good. It reminded me of my Salesbarn experiences from my small town in Nebraska. Good food and good people. We had the steak and cheese sandwich and I was full for hours . It is not your Raleigh dining experience. It is much better.

I’ve been hearing about Carolina Stockyard from a coworker and finally decided to give it a try. Since it’s a stockyard, I wasn’t expecting fine dining — and that’s not what this place is trying to be.
What did stand out was how clean the restaurant was and how friendly the staff were. Everyone was extremely nice and kept our drinks topped off the entire time. The burgers at our table were all above expectations — honestly, one of the best burgers I’ve had in a while. Everything tasted super fresh.
I’ll definitely be going back when I’m in the area, and now I’m wanting to bring my wife and kids back just for the experience.

Haven’t been in years. Why??? I don’t know. Scrumptious and the most attentive care. Your drink will definitely NOT go empty. I grew up going to the cattle sale with my Grandpa and Daddy. Oh, the precious memories! Beans taste like Granny cooked em. The country atmosphere is a bonus.

First time eating here and ai have been in the area for over 30 years. My expectations were very high based on what I’ve heard but they were not met. For what it is, it’s good. Fresh, clean, local, friendly staff. Overall not my favorite but don’t let that deter you from going at least once. It is an experience and you have to decide for yourself if it is for you or not.

The food is edible, that’s about the only good thing I can say about it. Good for truckers with easy parking. The prices online are extremely out of date, the current prices are more than double what is shown. They do allow you to bring your dog inside and in one area they have livestock inside the building.

The food was pretty good! We ordered steak, it was bland but good. As someone who doesn’t like a lot of hot spices I’ll take bland over yuck any day. The service was good and above what they had to do. I was concerned about how they cooked their steaks and the cook came to speak with me. Definitely recommend the food! The atmosphere is rated low because I couldn’t get past the smell. I’m not sure what it was but as soon as you get out of the vehicle and into the restaurant the entire place has a really tough smell. As well as The customers. They almost all had little children they allow to scream in the restaurant made the experience highly unpleasant.
I recommend the food to go. You really cannot beat the food you get for the price and flavor.

If you’re looking for a great cheese burger then look no further! Don’t let it fool you! Great place to take the kids on a Friday evening to let them look at all the livestock!

The friendly staff here really keep things moving seamlessly even when they’re packed. Everything on the menu is delicious and reasonably priced. The desserts are outstanding as well… especially the banana pudding and cobblers. The restaurant is always very clean and comfortable. The only down side of the restaurant is that they’re only open Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays. Definitely give them a try if you’re in the area.
