I saw a great review on Google so I stopped by. I ordered the Pa-dak (green onion chicken), and unfortunately, it was one of the worst chicken experiences I’ve had. The meat had a strange smell and tasted off, like it wasn’t fresh. I’ve never left chicken unfinished in my life, but I just couldn’t eat this one. I was even the first customer of the day, so I really didn’t expect this. If you’re hoping for the usual quality and flavor you’d get from a Korean chicken place, you’ll be disappointed.

Never seen a restaurant pack their food like this for delivery. How do I know if my food is tempered with by the delivery person or not. This is how they treat their food and their customers. Cheap restaurant. I do NOT recommend anyone buy their food.

Just a little bit shocked. And amazing Korean fusion chicken place hole in the wall. Just up on market Street from downtown Kirkland. The food was absolutely amazing and I am definitely going back. So many of the things that they do are unique and I highly recommend this place for a visit. It is not fast food that gets turned around in 30 seconds- everything is fresh and extremely well made and appeared to be excellent quality chicken

Incredible chicken and amazing service! I love stop in occasionally for the best fried chicken in the Seattle area but was blown away by their catering offering!!! How they managed to deliver 100 pieces of fried chicken with perfect freshness I will never know but certainly appreciate. Thanks Kevin snd Zip Dak team!!!!

Zip Dak delivers some seriously impressive Korean fried chicken. The crispiness is on point, locking in all the juicy goodness inside. Their sauce coatings add just the right balance of flavor without overpowering the chicken. The cheese ball, however, was just okay—not a standout for me.
Overall, it’s a solid spot for KFC lovers, and we’ll definitely be back for more!

Great hidden gem! The wings were massive! The spicy sauce had the right amount of heat and flavor. The wings were fried to perfection! Cost seemed pricey, until I saw the size of the wings.

We were driving by, and I am just amazed at the chicken we had! When I think of Korean Fried Chicken, I think of the sauce, the moist and juicy insides, and the crispy skin of the fried chicken. My partner had the yangnyum chicken (mixed), and I ordered the chi-bap. The yangnyum spiciness was the restaurant’s 2 out of 4 rating, but I felt it was the right amount of sweet and spicy. Next time, I personally would try something spicier! Sauce was finger-licking good! My partner wasn’t too impressed with the crunchiness of the fried chicken wings and drumsticks, but I thought their tenders actually had captured that crispiness! But we understand that the balance of the crisp and sauce coating can be hard to master. But this was still delicious!
The chi-bap was quite good too. We choose the grilled chicken option and the staff was polite to let us know that it was going to take longer to cook. The grilled chicken was juicy and the sauce ratio felt decent. The grilled kimchi was so good! Not burnt at all but had the right balance of what I expected a delicious grilled kimchi to be. There was so little, it was so delicious I could eat more! The radish were not too vinegary. Can’t wait to come by around here again to try out more. (Also, it’s nice that there’s a market literally next to it. We didn’t try the drinks from the restaurant but you could easily buy a drink or even some small ice cream on the way out through the market.)

I live down the street and been passing by Zip Dak since they opened. Every time I pass I say we need to check that place out. Now I’m mad I waited so long. This place is awesome. Love crunchy fried chicken and they didn’t disappoint. Onion rings and cheese balls were fantastic. I was gonna take a picture but we destroyed them. Matter of fact the only thing left were a few pieces of chicken! Plus they have beer!

The chicken was juicy, perfectly fried, and wonderfully crunchy. We tried both the boneless and mixed options, and the texture was spot on.
We went with the Honey Butter and Cheddar flavors, and unfortunately, the seasoning leaned towards the sweeter end and lacked the complexity we looked for. It almost felt like the chicken would have been better without it, which was a bit disappointing.
Overall, the quality of the chicken itself is excellent, but the flavouring could use some refinement to match the fantastic preparation.
