The food here was extremely bad, we had lechon, rice and vegetables. The vegetables were okay, but the rice was cold when they served it. I eat rice almost everyday and these were definitely from the day before.

Also the lechon was not crispy, which is doable, but the meat was so salty it was inedible. It tasted like it has been boiled in salt water from the ocean!

When confronting the service personnel about it, they did not know how to offer good service or at least compensate for something as little as the old rice. There are much better lechon in Bohol than this!

Known for their lechon, but we were kind of disappointed with its lack of taste and flavour. Skin was still crunchy, though, when it was served. The big clam dish was gummy. But the soup was good. Vegetables dishes were good too. Rice was so pricey along with the other dishes with its serving sizes.

What I noticed and like most is their atmosphere. It was an open layout. Natural light passing through. Service was median. Overall, ok to try.

A famous place for Lechon in Bohol/Cebu region. Spacious and modern seatings. Polite staff. Pricing a bit towards the high end of the scale. Suitable for family/large groups.

Food wise:
– The original Lechon plate, while tasty, was a bit too fatty for our taste. The roasted skin was on point though.
– Spicy Lechon was wayyyy better imo. More well-seasoned and much less fatty while still very tender.
– Cebu Express is a new thing to us. The dish is basically string beans cooked in coconut sauce topped with fried onions and dried fish. Quite delicious.
– The Lechon portions were really small. Cebu express portion was much more decent.

They have great and tummy filling food. It was just a shame that the kinilaw and only one lechon choice was available when we got there. The interior is relatively new and a modern look with a Filipino design.

I gave it 4 stars in food, service and atmosphere for a reason.
The food, the lechon really tasted so good, the only part I was shocked about was the price of the rice though where they put the rice is really cute .
For service, I gave 4 since it’s hard to call the waitress/workers since I could see only few in the dining (maybe only on that time.
For the atmosphere, I gave 4, the place really looks fantastic, the thing that is missing is there was no music. Even just dining music to create a good ambiance inside.

I visited this restaurant with my family, and I had high expectations because I had been here twice before with friends and enjoyed it. Unfortunately, tonight was a huge disappointment.

When we arrived, the staff greeted us and offered their buffet at ₱499 per person. We were surprised, as we initially planned to order à la carte. However, after checking the menu, almost everything was unavailable, so we decided to go with the buffet.

Here is my honest feedback on the food. The buffet selection included pancit, sweet and sour fish, fried rice, white rice, soup, fruits, and some deep-fried items. Sadly, none of the food was warm, and the buffet trays were not being refilled properly. There was a so-called crispy pork bone that had almost no meat and was just coated in breadcrumbs. The lumpia tasted old, and the chicken was mostly breading. The most disappointing part was the absence of lechon instead, they replaced it with diced fried pork slices with no sauce at all completely bland.

There were also no proper serving spoons, which I had to point out to the staff. On top of that, children from another table were shouting and running around as if the place were a public plaza. The dining area could have been better maintained the table was dirty and there were flies everywhere.

Overall, the food was definitely not good, and the experience was far from what I remembered. Please don’t waste your money here consider going somewhere else, or see for yourself.

To make matters worse, I am now experiencing a stomachache, which is very concerning and not a good sign at all.

This place is really nice. Beautiful, perfect food. One of the best lechon we ate. Crew is really friendly and helpful… and really small rice for 70 PHP (OMG) … i do not know what to say. I thought it is special rice. But this rice is even not on restaurant level… 🙁 thankfully we had our cellphone, so we could play dinner music, because there is no music inside that could help to create good ambiance.

They offer whole lechon for small 7k, medium 9k, and large sizes 11k. We ordered lechon twice here already. They can cater rush orders – ex. Went there lunch to order for tomorrow morning at 7 a.m. They have enough parking spaces in front and at the back. Delicious meals! Ordered scallops, sinigang, kangkong, and chopsuey. Nice interior design as well! They have outdoor seating too. They accept cash & cards like Maya. The staff are also so accommodating. Highly recommended! Will definitely come again. A must to try in the city.

Another satisfying meal! House of Lechon is one of our go-to restaurants. We asked if we could take out leftover foods, but we finished all the dishes because they were just too good

My friends and I like this place. We have been here for quite a number of times especially for lunch. In some of our visits the place is packed, and in some, they barely have anybody.
But, in every visit, the service has always been excellent, yet the food, though it has always been good, there is no consistency in the flavoring/seasoning. Perhaps a change in cooks had something to do with it.
We have noticed that in every visit, their “special” lechon does not taste the same as the last one. No big deal though. Their food is still good no matter the change.

We like the place, the food, and especially the service, so long story short, we will be back.

If I hadn’t eaten at the House of Lechon in Cebu I may have rated this place 5 stars. But… they are 2 stars behind the OG HoL in terms of taste. Probably still the best Lechon in Bohol though.
