Best lunch deal in Wilmington. $6.99 gets you 2 large slices with 1 topping and a bottle of soda. I have had lots of different pizza from Jay’s and have never been disappointed. Lately I have been in a Meatball Pizza kick and have had it at least once a week for a month. The photo is the one time I had Sausage Pizza. When I get meatball I start eating before I think to take a photo.

The worst pizza and wings in town. We spent $45 on a Chicago Deep dish pizza, a bottle of coke, and a dozen wings. The pizza was not a deep dish pizza. It had thick crust that was hard on the outside and doughy in the middle. The toppings were not very good either. The wings were white and rubbery and didn’t have a single spec of salt, pepper, or any other seasoning. Im pretty sure the wings were boiled and finished off in the oven for a minute.

Jays has been our go to pizza places. Crispy crust and beautiful toppings that have so much flavor. Honestly the best affordable pizza in town.
Tonight we left with the wrong order. Called the store on our short drive home and asked if we could come back (HAD to have our cheese perfection pizza!!) They insisted on delivering our pie and Jay himself brought us our dinner. Couldn’t be more thankful for the service and craft of this restaurant!

One of the best pizza’s we’ve had in a very long time! Loved how the veggies had a nice crisp to them and weren’t soggy. Crust to topping ratio is perfect. We will definitely be ordering again!

After our current pizzeria changed ownership (and is now terrible), we were looking for a new place to get our pizza in the Monkey Junction area. We have been unable to find pizza like we were used to in NJ. We so wanted this to be our new Friday night take out restaurant. We ordered half pepperoni and half mushroom. The two sides look totally different. The mushroom side was white with tons of cheese, while the other side looked like it should. Unfortunately the pizza just didn’t have any taste to it. It was like it had been sitting and re-cooked. The crust was especially tasteless. I hate having to write this review as we had high hopes. Maybe the pizza can be adjusted some how to add flavor.

I went in after a long day at work and asked the most friendly staff – for real such nice men- about the pickle dill white pizza – I’m a traditional kind of pizza girl – I was not disappointed! I asked them to go light on the pickles but wow – amazing – the jalapeños give it just the best heat . So good ! It’s literally now my most favorite pizza in all of Wilmington (I’ve lived here 25 years so I’ve seen it all on pizza ) . Congratulations guys . Amazing pizza and the friendliest staff !

The food at Jay’s reminds me of my childhood. I grew up near Asheboro, NC, and we had the equivalent of Jay’s called George’s Carryout. In the early days, George waited on you, just as Jay took my order, shaped my crust, and adorned my pizza. This isn’t just a pizza. It is a well thought out flavor experience. Service was stellar. The atmosphere is that of every carryout. A few chairs to wait 15 minutes for your pizza. A cooler with soft drinks and a single t.v. round out the atmospheric aspect. I ordered the Pesky Chicken and was told that it was going to be really good. Fresh basil pesto had just been made, and it was my base. Take a look at my photos . This place is AMAZING! The staff went above and beyond. The food was beyond delicious (quite literally the best Calzone I’ve ever had). The price is extremely affordable. DEFINITELY going back! I want to try everything on the menu!

This was my first time ordering at Jay’s incredible pizza. First off I’d like to say the young gentleman that took my order around 12 noon on 8-24-23 was very polite and well mannered. When my order came up he offered to take it out to my car for me. Wow such awesome service. I ordered two pizzas, first one was, Hawaiian – the banana peppers and feta cheese. The second one was a large that’s incredible – the fresh garlic. Also an order pepperoni rolls with the marinara sauce. Everything was made with fresh ingredients and cooked to perfection. I highly recommend Jay’s incredible pizza I took some pics to send to my son so he knew lunch was ready. I know I didn’t the lid off when I took the pic of the rolls but you can still see them.
