Had a super burrito carne asada. It tasted like a bunch of mush. There was hardly any flavor. The meat also tasted like it was overcooked. The rice had no flavor. I couldn’t taste any of the other ingredients like the onions, sour cream, cilantro, etc. The pico de gallo didn’t really do it for me since it was also watery.
I will say though, their red salsa did have a subtle kick and nice flavor to it
Overall this place is below average. If you live in the neighborhood and have no other other options then it’s ok I guess. For what it is the price is way too expensive. It tasted like a $7 burrito not a $12
I’ll give it another chance because of the poor review just to be fair. But for now, my score of the burrito stands, which is my worst.

Went because of the high rating even though only 9 reviews. Wasn’t disappointed. Chicken burrito with tasty rice and great chicken. Meat was tender and tasty. If they would improve a bit on the sauces (guacamole) they give with the burrito it would a 10/10.

Best Mexican food in San Jose. This is the one restaurant I miss the most since moving to the east bay. It’s a great secret. Someone has a bad review but that’s weird because they were solid, would never miss, every time I tried them the last two years. Other Mexican food in SJ is pretty overrated. Especially East San Jose. Weak out there!

Super burrito al pastor slaps (is very good) and it’s only $11.50. Delicious and good for your wallet. And it’s on the 61 bus line so it’s easy to hop on the bus home right after.
