I ordered the quesabirrias. Everyone knows that one of the most notable features of that specific dish is the consommé that comes with it to dip the tacos into.
Not only did they send me tacos that were almost ice cold, but they sent no consommé. So, I’m now left with an almost $20 meal that’s nothing but 3 small & cold tacos.
This was my first time trying them and my last. I’m not a picky person, nor do I feel the desire to leave reviews, often. Im also very forgiving regarding restaurants making small mistakes. However, this is a pretty significant one considering it’s literally the main “claim to fame” & feature of the dish I ordered. So, leaving a main ingredient like that out almost certainly has to be intentional or a level of carelessness that makes me question if I can &/or should trust them by eating ANYTHING from them.
For all I know, they could’ve mistook the salt for baking soda or something that would translate to a months stay in the icu for I or anyone else that ate from them. So, once I have that level of eyebrow raising & side eye activity towards a business or feel as if I’m playing Russian Roulette when eating from them, I’m pretty much done with the place.

Feels like a hole in the wall spot. Best carne Asada tacos I’ve had in the last 11 years! Bless these folks. Their spicy green sauce is a fantastic combination with the tacos. I don’t need to go anywhere els to get my taco fix.

I asked for an extra napkins … was told “extra in bag” .. I asked “are you certain “ and was told “yes” .. got to my car and checked .. I had 1 napkin for 2 people. Went back in and woman got up and went into the kitchen. I don’t like liars. With this attitude .. I don’t trust her with my food any longer. Won’t be back.

The buisness is ran by a small family. They dont speak great english, so you know the food is gonna be good. I got the quesabirria and it was DELICIOUS. Only complaints is that it’s a little expensive for the amount of food you get. Also, it’s inside a gas station so seating is kinda limited. I’ll be back for more for sure.
