First time here and based on reviews, I wasn’t sure how this would turn out in terms of service and food quality but I would say overall satisfied. I had the sweet-and-sour chicken and the pork with peppers and overall pretty good. I ordered it fresh so everything came out right off the pot and also had the flat rice noodles, which was pretty good. Service was good. The place is little dirty.

First time trying this place and the moment my boyfriend and I walked in, it smelled so good I already knew I was going to love it, I got their curry chicken, green beans, chow mien, and fried rice. And all of it was pretty satisfying I didn’t even need to add soy sauce or sriracha because the green beans made up for the spice. My boyfriend was also happy with his plate and actually finished his so knowing him to not leave leftovers it was that good really affordable too, don’t forget to walk in with cash because it is cash only

I was surprised how inexpensive and fresh the food is here. Bright, colorful veggies, lots of vegan and vegetarian selections, tasty sauces. Not too spicy or salty but flavorful and not greasy ! One item just $2.99? Four for $9.99. Big portions. I did not get sick afterwards as Chinese food often makes me feel terrible. Great find. We will be back. No athmosphere, you go here for quick take out. Only minus is that the beef was very chewy. Chicken was excellent.

If you’re expecting to get a customary heaping Chinese fast food serving you will be greatly disappointed. This place used to be generous with their servings but it has really gone down through the years. The prices have gone the opposite direction though.
The menu selections have remained the same. The usual favorites, sweet and sour pork, teriyaki chicken, orange chicken, pork barbecue, egg foo young are still available. There are items that are made to order also. No soup is not included with the combo meals nor egg rolls.
I got the 1-item combo (A), fried pork with chow mein. Combo A is now $7.99. It was good but the food was not really fresh. I went for a late lunch, 2pm and the place was empty.
I would say it is still a good bargain since you will probably pay the same amount going to a fast food. Just think, $3.99 for a hash brown at McDonald’s. At least you wouldn’t be sitting with the homeless hanging around at the next table.
Update: 02/09/2024 serving size is smaller and service still very unfriendly. Good for last minute Chinese food.

Small hole in the wall place but the food is great and very reasonably priced. They have Monday specials where some of the hot tray items are only $1.99. I love the fried shrimp and wontons and have to get them every time. There are many items that they cook fresh and every experience there has been great!

One of my local favourites because China Bowl Express serves more authentic Americanized-Chinese fast food than some others.
Eg. Black bean pork & tasty thin rice noodles.
Orange Chicken meat is tender, not hard and stringy like it is at times at Lucky. Good BBQ pork and tasty mushroom chicken! Rare place with rice noodles, too.
Actual Chinese cook!
One of the few places where adding a 4th side dish doesn’t cost a lot – just $3.49
3 item combo price is lower than many other competitors at $10.50 despite inflation.1 item $7.99, 2 item $9.25.
Service is quick most times, much shorter wait during rush hours than Lucky.

I loved it here and so will you! Prices are super affordable and quantity is just right! Even if that wasn’t the case the taste of the food was astonishing. I had never tried angel hair noodles and they were fabulous. 10/10 all day

Cheap, fast, and super filling. The sweet and sour chicken I had was a little warm though and you could tell it was made a while ago. Also, the rice is somewhat plain, soy sauce is needed. Will come again

Not bad for simple tasty inexpensive Chinese food. $7.99 for 1 meat item with noodles or fried rice. Could be hotter if server stirred food in the steamer table more often but it was ok. No fountain drinks or iced tea, only canned sodas for $1.49

So freaking delicious! Has a nice smoky taste from being cooked fresh. We bought 5 small boxes of sides and 1 large box of the chow fun all for $30 for everything. Well worth the money!
