I work nearby and try to give this place at least, once a year a chance. I have even had my birthday celebrated here a few years back because this place had great reviews. But no one in my party liked their food, it’s just not fresh nor authentic. Restaurant has a good vibe. Good music, staff is decent. But their food just sucks.
The owner either needs to lower their prices on the whole menu or get a new cook. Salsa served with the chips is not home made. It a canned sauce. Rice has absolutely no flavor. Beans are canned and always come out cold. The green and red salsa are always frozen or extremely cold. The tostada…well what even is that? It was like an air fried tortilla with beans and 4 pieces of tomato. Theres no reason to throw a whole lettuce head on the tostada. Tostadas should also have sour cream. But not here, thats an extra fee. The ground beef is the exact same that taco bell uses. This food might taste good to other tongues but this food is not Mexican. I should’ve just gone to taco bell for the same products but would’ve paid less. I’m done giving them chance after chance. I’ll just go to Dos Bros across the street instead. At least their food has some flavor.

What an amazing place. With a warm and friendly staff, large portions on the food and very decent pricing its an experience to enjoy. And the best part gor me is my favorite dish I come for, the Fahitas! Hands down the best you will ever have. Come check them out and enjoy this wonderful establishment!

Refused to allow separate checks because customers IN THE PAST haven’t paid.. Really?? Every other restaurants we patronize (monthly) allows it. Not only that, the music was too loud and the food was bland.. the meat had no flavor at all.

Excellent food here. The chicken tacos and enchiladas are amazing! Great Margarita’s as well. We keep coming back because the service and food are fantastic every time.

I paid $21 for something that really should’ve cost about 10, and that’s after tax. It appears if you dine in you get your money worth but if you take out you don’t. Also, the food was not that great. I will not be going back to this restaurant again. Save yourself, money and time, go somewhere else.

Ordered on Uber eats, they threw in chips and salsa which is much appreciated, though it was like the chips and salsa you buy at a grocery store. I had an Al pastor dinner, beans were really watery for some reason. meat was super dry and didn’t have much seasoning(what little was there was good though). Overall wouldn’t recommend it, but could be good with some effort

TRASH. if i could rate no stars i would. meat was old, shrimp was raw, rice was hard and undercooked. margaritas were TERRIBLE. ive never sent back a margarita until this place. also the waitress was unhelpful and tipped herself 20%, without my consent, luckily i noticed cuz HUUUHH?? terrible service all around. never coming back

Carnitas were probably the best I’ve ever had even in Chicago. Chicken was good and flavorful. Pastor was kind of dried out and not a lot of flavor. Steak was dry too. Overall the food was very flavorful, not to much salt. Rice is OMG good. The homemade salsas are very delicious and worth it. The price is understandable but it’s a little pricey on some items. I was wary reading previous reviews but it was a great experience. We will be eating here a lot more.
