Went into Don Tequila for dinner right at the tail end of happy hour, and the whole experience was fantastic. The staff was incredibly welcoming, the restaurant was spotless, and the atmosphere was lively and fun. They really pay attention to the little details.
The highlight was Leo—he knew the menu and drink offerings inside and out. His recommendations were spot-on and honestly better than what I’ve had at most Mexican restaurants. He was fun, kind, and made us feel completely at home.
I’ll definitely be back! The happy hour deals are great, and as a bonus, they had good football games on for anyone wanting to catch sports. Highly recommend!!

We had the Don Tequila crew hook us up for the Super Bowl, and it was honestly one of the best group experiences we’ve had in a long time. With almost 15 people, the staff went above and beyond and put us right up front with several tables arranged together so we could all sit comfortably and made sure we felt completely taken care of all night.
From the moment we arrived, the service was friendly, attentive, and effortless. The food was really tasty and it was perfect for game day. Among others, my highlights were the chile relleno and tamales, and I heard the frozen margaritas were 100%. It’s clear the team knows how to handle a large group without missing a beat, and they did it all with great energy.
If you’re looking for a place that knows how to host, delivers great food and drinks, and makes you feel welcome, Don Tequila is it. We’ll absolutely be back.

Food was good. But my order (carry out was completely wrong). I called back to let them know, and they seemed to be cool with it… I can’t lie, it might affect my chances of going back to eat. And I live waking distance…. (but, the remodel is A+and the food is so far… good).

This was some of the best Mexican food I’ve ever had! The guacamole and margaritas were amazing. Everything tasted fresh and homemade-you can tell they are using high quality, fresh ingredients. The atmosphere was great and our waiter was friendly and helpful. Our group had people ranging in ages from 4-78 years old and we all enjoyed our experience. Will definitely be back next time I’m in town!

This is the best Mexican restaurant in Columbus! The food was authentic, delicious and the menu had so many choices of dishes. including a kids menu. The artwork and atmosphere was beautiful. Our waiter was the best! He gave us free margaritas compliments of the house! My family from out out of town and I had a great time together there. We will be back and I want to spread the word about this great Mexican restaurant.

I was here with a large party to celebrate a birthday. Food, service, and atmosphere were all excellent. My strawberry daiquiri and carnitas platter were amazing — the best of all Mexican restaurants I’ve tried in Columbus. I was impressed with how fast all of our food came out considering how many people had ordered. The wait staff was sweet to sing happy birthday to our birthday girl with celebratory drinks. I will definitely be returning to Don Tequila for lunch/dinner and will also keep this place in mind for future party needs.
