I’m so happy I found this little place. I’ve lived in the neighborhood my whole adult life but didn’t find this gem until recently. The decor and atmosphere was cozy and inviting. The food was wonderful. I had the Salmon dish and my kids all had different dishes equally good.
The service was great as well all the staff were really friendly and attentive. They took a cpl group photos for us. And went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and enjoying ourselves.
The reason for the four stars is because the food took a little long to come out but once it did we enjoyed every bite.

This place was a great find, and definitely surpassed our expectations! Food was excellent; the Buffana pizza had so much flavor, and the pasta carbonara was great as well, and we shared a nice Tiramisu at the end as well! The service was also on point, and they have good variety of different seating with very cozy decor, including a beautiful backyard area, however we enjoyed the cozy blue couch/nook like seats inside a lot! We’ll definitely be back! And side note, as a jazz musician who’s played quite a few NYC weddings now, this could potentially work very well for a small/mid sized wedding I’d say!

Great gluten free pasta & one of the better crème brûlée’s I’ve had! We stopped by on a whim and had some great salads and pasta. The pasta pomadoro and pasta ragu were wonderful. The host is from Napoli and very nice, highly recommend for gluten free peeps.

Went here with some girlfriends and it was amazing. the food was incredible. we had the truffle pizza, fries, truffle gnocchi and the crème brûlée and it was so delicious! the manager matia was so attentive and sweet. Definitely coming here again! 10/10!

My family was in town, so I suggested we went to Gnocco. The service was wonderful. The staff made our experience SO fun, SO lively, and a memory to remember — Mattia is the goat fr. We had a great time. We were still laughing and talking about it far after we’d left the restaurant.
Big thank you to management and the owner for really making this such a spectacular time, and I’ll certainly be bringing people back. Best

My friends and I were looking for a spot to eat on a busy night in Tompkins Square and everywhere else had a wait. At 7:40pm my husband saw they had a table available for 8pm for 6 people on open table. While my husband notified the rest of our party to head to Gnocco, I made the reservation but mistakenly made it for 2 (it was really cold and I was just trying to get a table anywhere that was warm!) When I tried to change it to 6 people, it asked for a credit card. Rather than change it, we were just a couple of blocks away and we figured we would just notify the restaurant once we got there. When we arrived there was only one table seated with at least 8 open tables in the front of the restaurant. I apologized and started to explain, “I just made a reservation for 2, but our party is for 6. Is it possible to accommodate us?” The man who we spoke to seemed annoyed and rudely replied, “if there’s 6 people then why did you make it for 2?” I looked around at an empty restaurant like ummm are you seriously gonna turn down a 6 top at 8pm on a Friday at an empty restaurant where everywhere else is popping? They seated us but I still can’t fathom telling a customer that. Food was OK (a bit bland) at best for the price and atmosphere. I see why the place was empty… we obviously will not be returning.

I’ve been coming here for years- it used to be a good friend of mines favorite place until he died. It took years for me to build up the nerve to go- and when I did I had the most pleasant experience. I recommend the amitriciana pizza and the potato gnocci: delicious, just delicious. An experience to remember.

On Valentines Day…one of the most hectic days of the year for any restaurant…was received with genuine warmth from the owner. The service was stellar and we never felt rushed despite lines out the door ! The food was very good especially the carpaccio and gnocchi. Will definitely go back.
