Incredible food and even better hospitality! Every dish was packed with flavor, and the family-friendly vibe made for a great evening. The owner’s personal touch makes you feel like a welcomed guest rather than just another customer. A must-visit if you want a cozy, delicious meal. As the saying goes: Barriga llena corazón “CONTENTO.” A full belly makes for a happy heart.

First time eating here. The whole family loved it.
We ordered the tacos, Milwaukee, el pastor, and beef brisket. I really liked the beef brisket.
The guac appetizer with pomegranate seeds was so good.
For desert we had the flourless cake and churros. The churros were the best we’ve ever had! It was so good we forgot to take a picture before we ate them.
100% we will be back!!

The ambiance is open contemporary, and aesthetically pleasing. The menu had a great selection of individual tacos or full entrees. Something for everyone and reasonably priced. We started with chips and pico. The chips were the perfect crispness and salt, pico was fresh and sooo tasty. We split the avocado tatemado appetizer; grilled avocado with whole shrimp topper. Delicious! Highly recommend. The bone marrow tacos, and the street corn, again, generous portions and every bite was absolutely delicious. There’s an impressive tequila menu at the bar, and a good selection of mocktails. I don’t have a lot of faith in mocktails, but their N/A margarita was perfect. All in all, from ambience to price, ( around $30.0 each) to food and drink – every bite and sip was perfection. Also our server, was knowledgeable, helpful, pleasant, and fun. Five star recommendation! You’ll probably want a reservation on the weekends, but we got right in on a Wednesday. Don’t miss this place! It’s fantastic.

I visited Contento for the first time a couple of weeks ago and it did not disappoint! Ordering single tacos is a great way to try different flavors. I also tried my friend’s unique bone marrow taco which was so delicious. We had the shrimp and avocado appetizer and some top shelf margaritas. I really cannot wait to come back!

Each time I dine here it gets better. I ordered the chicken tacos, two were delicious but the third taco the chicken was over cooked & tough. As an appetizer I ordered the chips & salsa which was delivered after I received my meal. The restaurant was not busy, servers were hanging out in the kitchen so surprised they couldn’t deliver my chips before the meal. When I received my bill I was mistakenly charged double which was an honest mistake and they voided the transaction with no issues. I hope they continue to improve their service as I would like this establishment to thrive.

Since the step you put inside the place, you can feel a relaxing mexican modern vibe. I love the atmosphere and the wall full of Frida. Natsuki was my server and she was genuinely nice and professional. She gave me some recommendations and omg! I’m picky with Guacamole. It is the best guacamole I have ever had in Wisconsin so far. Perfect on salt and the touch of topped it with pomegranate crushed it!! The tacos were good, and the shrimp and the monolo tacos were out of this world. I’ll be back! Congrats to the owner for the amazing job he has made on that place

Went with a group of friends for the first time here. The food was mediocre, the tacos were very small. White rice was literally white rice, I was thinking lime rice or something but it was plain and bland. Beans too. Lobster Chile Relleno was a baked pepper ?with what seemed to be cod as imitation lobster and yellow cheese? Never had Relleno served like this and its my favorite dish. Especially for $24 .The bill was outrageous and we all left not full and made a pizza when we got home. 2 drinks and meal roughly $150 per couple.

After 2 nights eating at different places, I needed a place where I felt welcomed, and this was the right place. I sat at the bar because it was only me. Bartender and owner were super nice even though they were busy.
Before I went there, I read reviews. In general the food is good but don’t expect to find on the menu burritos or chimichangas. In my personal opinion, they try to get their own version of Mexican food with a little twitch .
There is nothing wrong with their food, I will say just different and don’t expect the typical. I will be back for sure to keep trying their different dishes, I like what I had, and I was not disappointed , just different.
I loved their decorations on the walls and the men’s restroom, kind of an emphasis on art. Chek out!
I will say it worth the effort and trying!

Best tacos in Lake Country! Unique flavors, fresh guac, tasty cocktails, and really cool atmosphere. I took my husband here for the first time a few weeks ago and we sat at the bar. We had an awesome chat about tequilas with the bartender (he was knowledgeable and shared information about tequilas we’d never heard of!). I’ve been talking up this place and the tacos and was excited my husband agreed that they really are the best tacos in our area!
