We recently visited this restaurant and had an amazing experience! Our server, Emilia, was incredibly attentive, friendly, and always ready to help with recommendations. On Thursdays, they have a fantastic special on chicken wings—great variety of sauces and excellent prices for 6 or 12 pieces.
The restaurant’s design is cozy and stylish, with great music that adds to the atmosphere. The French onion soup was absolutely delicious, and the local blackberry beer was the perfect pairing. Highly recommend this spot for a great night out!

I am so sad that this place went so downhill. The new owners ruined it. Was sat right away but had to wait 20 minutes to even get drinks, THEN another 20 to order. The waitress had no clue what she was doing and the other staff seemed uninterested in helping anyone. We had to sit a whole 2 hours before we got our food, the excuse being that the COOK doesn’t know how to make wings. Turns out the waitresses were cooking the food and it was overall a terrible experience.

Been going here for 17 years for wing nights. However, since the new owner took over, I haven’t had a good wing out of that kitchen. Breading is too much and doesn’t stick to the wing. Wings always come out cold and under fried. Half the time they aren’t even open when they say they are and they make no effort to inform their customers of they’re schedule changes. Sad to say, I think it’s an end of an era. So long wing nights.

Worst food related experience ever.
Order philly cheese steak, western burger, curds, and poppers. When I called, I was greeted with a “what” extremely unprofessional! Cocky and unpleasant over the phone, which should have been my hint. Said order would be ready in 10-15min…that’s fine, also did not take a name, or a number, nothing. Arrived in 13-15min. Let her know we were there for a food order called in and apparently she knew exactly who we were. She then proceeded to disappear for approximately 15-20min with no explanation. Then as we were planning to go elsewhere, she popped out with our order. Relayed our order, which was incorrect but she insisted it was the same thing. Against my better judgement once again we paid and took our food to our room, the entire order was borderline edible. Complete disappointment, this establishment is beyond repair or recycle, please don’t waste your time or your money.

The wings were delicious! We had the strawberry habenero wings on a Thursday special!
The tips and gravy was the most bland food I have ever had and the chicken and stuffing was actually pretty good.

Went down from my room at 8:30. Walked in, no one there except the bartender and another employee. Wanted to order food, but wasn’t even asked. Had a glass of beer, ordered a 2nd, lights went off all around. Mind you, this is at 8:45. A little before 9, family of 6 comes in, no employees around, and I tell them, “grab a seat, they are open until 10.” Employee comes out and says, “we shut down at 9.” I said, “my apologies, I told them you were open until 10,” and his response, “well, it’s dead, so.” I know help is hard to come by, but come on. Sad part is, this place has good food, and normally good employees. Probably will head across the bridge to Menominee for a room from here on out

Went for Thursday wing night – Service was great and polite, however it took at least a drink or two worth of time to get our order. Wing prices are $0.60 each with plenty of flavor options. I’ve been here a few times bks and I’ll say that wings are a 7/10 – the flavor is good but because they “broast” the wings instead of fry them the texture is not as crunchy as I like it when they are fried (albeit they are healthier). Beer prices are fair – a Spotted Cow, IPA or any other craft beer is only $3.50.

Worst experience at avenue grill tonight . Famiy came in , stranded waiting 10 minutes to get seated . Then when finally seated the server walked away without asking if we wanted drinks or waters . Expressed that we would like a high chair for my 1 year old (as if she cared) Server walked away to bar and started making drinks for new guests walking in. We waited 15 minutes with no help until we walked out . Then we left and went and got the kids food and I called the avenue grill 5 times between 8and 8:45 to do a to go order with no answer . No where near busy also during this all. Very disappointed with the lack of care from the server . Easily lost out on $200+ and a tip !
