We recently tried Venezia during the winter season, and while the ambiance was cozy, the overall experience left much to be desired.

The food was mediocre.. not terrible, but certainly not memorable. We ordered from the winter menu, which may not reflect their usual offerings and may have been our mistake.

Portions were surprisingly small: the appetizer (one per person) included just two small pieces of bruschetta and about six rings of calamari. While the main dishes were a decent size, the flavors didn’t quite deliver. The sauce tasted a bit off, not bad but not great. The linguini and clams was good, but there wasn’t a lot of clam.

Service was very slow, though we suspect this may have been due to seasonal staffing challenges. Unfortunately, the experience took a turn when we noticed a cockroach crawling on the wall near the end of our meal, which was quite unsettling. We didn’t make a fuss but it kept coming around during dessert.

On a positive note, the desserts were outstanding. The limoncello bomb was a delightful surprise, and the homemade tiramisu was truly fantastic. This was easily the highlight of the evening.

Overall, Venezia was a new spot to try, but with better options nearby, we’re unlikely to return.

I had an absolutely fabulous experience at Venezia! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm, elegant, and full of authentic Italian charm. The food was phenomenal — rich, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Every dish tasted fresh and thoughtfully prepared, from the perfectly cooked pasta to the decadent dessert. You can truly tell the kitchen takes pride in every plate.

What made the evening unforgettable, though, was our server, Dani. Dani wasn’t just great — they were a total hero! Attentive without being overbearing, incredibly kind, and genuinely passionate about the menu. Dani took the time to explain specials in detail, offered thoughtful recommendations that were absolutely spot-on, and checked in at just the right moments to make sure everything was perfect. Their upbeat attitude, warm personality, and attention to detail made us feel like VIP guests all night. It’s rare to find service that truly elevates a dining experience, but Dani absolutely did.

If you’re looking for amazing Italian cuisine paired with outstanding service, Venezia is the place to go. I can’t wait to return! ✨

The food here was fantastic. Hot and fresh and very flavorful. The restaurant is BYOB and our server did seem surprised when my husband and I didn’t come in with a bottle of wine and just chose plain water to drink. (I am wondering if they charge a fee to open a bottle of wine). We did order bruschetta as an appetizer. Small portion but good flavor. I probably would have ordered something else.

The restaurant is small and can get noisy if there are a lot of large parties. We did experience the large parties and the loudness. Our food was slightly delayed due to all the large parties.

There is not parking lot. Street parking only. In the middle of summer they can be a challenge. The hostess did mention you can park in Uncle Bills Pancake House lot (no signs indicating such and all signs say you will be towed if not a customer)

Overall I will come back. Maybe in the offseason. The food and service was good.

Second time here did not disappoint. Food , presentation , decor , background music , and service were excellent. Adina our waitress and the waiter played along to all my antics and were adorable playfully joking with us. We just got back from Rome , Italy so Venezia (Venice) was the perfect stop. It is BYOB and they include an after dinner Lemoncello for free. Prices ($50-$75) are to be expected so expect them. We enjoyed the whole experience.

What a pleasure to be served by Marco & Janna (spell?)
A short drive from N. Wildwood toward Wildwood, NJ you find Venezia. Not the real one, but how about a really lovely classic Italian style restaurant. The Italian servers were, wait for it, Italian!!
The service was first class and complimented the amazingingly delicious dishes. Our guests were all singing his/her praises. I wish I had got a card, the name escapes me.
My apologies.
We enjoyed several appetisers family style calamari salade caprese.
I will attach photos of the entrées
Mouth freshening Limoncello shots
with Limoncello Bomba for dessert and a delicious New York Cheesecake. Espressos and Cappuccinos to finish a delightful meal.
Oh nearly forgot, it’s a BYOB. Makes a remarkable difference to the check. We brought a bottle of white wine and a bottle of red. And a 6 pack cooler. That worked very well for a party of 6. Most enjoyable.

Stayed a few nights in the off-season, desired an Italian Dinner but assumed that it would be next to impossible to find down in Wildwood.
We were pleasantly surprised to find this gem!

The food was wonderful & presented so well.
The dessert was delicious!
~ We will definitely return.

I had dinner with my husband, and the experience was disappointing. The food was overpriced, and the atmosphere felt more like a rave party, with people talking loudly enough that I couldn’t hear my husband sitting across from me. There were no vegetarian options on the menu, but they did accommodate my request. The bread they served was good, albeit small. I enjoy spicy food, but this was excessively spicy and quite boring overall, you look at my dish and don’t even get excited for it, aesthetically it looks like a pasta made in a hospital.

At the end of our meal, we had to wait ten minutes to receive our check as the server seemed to have disappeared. I would give the food two stars and the atmosphere a zero. I won’t be returning. I would recommend Olive Garden or Little Italy instead.

Daniel, our server, was new, but excellent! Very friendly and attentive and answered all of our questions promptly. The staff is absolutely wonderful! My husband and I have dined here twice. The food is very good. We have had pasta dishes and chicken dishes and have not been disappointed with the quality of food and the chefs, all excellent. If we had to recommend any improvements it would be the quantity of food. Entrees are not large, especially for pasta, which is cheap to buy, so hard to understand why the portions couldn’t be more substantial. I say this knowing that they do not compliment the entree with a free house salad and the amount of bread they provide on the table is very minimal. We asked for more bread once but was embarrassed to ask again. So without a salad or a substantial bread basket we would wish the pasta entrees were larger. Again, the service and quality of food was outstanding, we just wished there was a little more of it! FYI – this time we ordered Paccheri Capesante (pasta with scallops) and Fettuccine Alfredo (with chicken and asparagus). Thank you and hope to dine there again soon.

We stopped in for dinner on a Thursday evening, not very busy as expected out of season. They had a special menu which was very reasonably priced and good selection. Our waiter Danny was very attentive, friendly and made us feel right at home. I had the Chicken Parmesan and my wife had the Salmon, both were excellent. For dessert I had a cake with cream inside and my wife had Creme Brulee, again both were excellent. In all a great Thursday night dinner experience and good value. We will be back.
