I’ve never tried Snarf’s Sandwiches before, and we were craving something light for dinner, so I placed a pickup order. The order was ready really quickly, and the store was very clean and decorative inside.

Everything was pretty good. My Mom’s Turkey & Swiss was phenomenal, and definitely what I’ll be getting next time. My BBQ Brisket & Swiss was a bit tough, but the sauce made up for it. Finally, the “Snarfy” Chili was actually pretty good— spicy though!

We’d get Snarf’s again. I never knew this place existed until recently!

After visiting the location downtown before a concert, we stopped at another location on the way home today. We were honestly looking for something quick for the road and tried the Super Club which was delicious and a 12″ was perfect to split between me and my friend. Try the gooey butter its apparently a St. Louis thing and really decadent!

I understand that it is very frustrating when cars park in parking lots and then customers go to another business. That being said, the lot did not say Snarfs only and there is limited parking around a very busy street for neighboring businesses. Snarfs plastered a huge warning on my car that left a huge sticky mark. I finally had to use goo gone to get it off after weeks of a large sticker mark on my car. Is this considered vandalizing property?? I would have preferred a $20 ticket!! Parking in a large mostly open lot does not warrant this.

Update: Gave it another try. I upped it to 4 stars as the food really is good. I still don’t understand though…why so stingy on the tomatoes in the salads? Plus, there is no way of requesting extra on the website when I ordered? I have photos this time. It’s kind of hilarious because I got the Cobb which came with a WHOLE hard-boiled egg, HALF of an avocado, a ton of onion, cheese, and bacon. Then there are these two teeny tiny grape tomatoes. All I can do is laugh. With how close it is to work and the flavor being good, I’ll probably be back, but I’d love an update on the tomato situation.

I’m slightly disappointed at my first experience at a Snarf’s. I came here today (Tuesday) to buy myself lunch for my birthday. I ordered the Snarf Salad with Italian dressing and a side of pickles. The staff was very friendly and the place appeared clean. I took my order to go, so I am unable to speak much on the interior other than what I experienced. The amount of meat and cheese on the dressing is delightful and tastes great. However, it also came with egg, onion, and tomato. The egg and onion were there, but there were two tiny grape tomatoes that I had to dig for in this large salad; a bit unfortunate. The dressing was extremely diluted with vinegar, to the point that it was runny like water and the vinegar was all I could smell or taste. Fortunately, I am okay with vinegar, but this was not Italian dressing. Finally, although it is weird, I love pickles but hate cucumbers. I like to get a pickle on the side at delis, like that do at some other places. Sadly, the pickles I received were very bland, not salted enough, nor had enough flavor to be called a pickle. I did not eat them. I expect a little more for the price of $12. It’s a large salad with a fair amount of meat, but the execution was not ideal. Overall, it was just okay and not an experience that would make me want to come back. I typically try to give a place a second chance, so I will probably try again with a different order. I was so excited to see this opened so close to work and was looking forward to visiting often. However, I am unsure if that will be the case.

Really excited to have Snarf’s in the neighborhood. Delicious sandwiches and salads and yummy desserts. Customer service is always great. Highly recommend this place for a quick bite to eat.

Went to the Kirkwood location for the very first time to this chain, and man, WAY disappointed. The photo of my BLT says it all. I spent $15.24 for….THIS? It tasted fine, which is the only reason I’m not giving a 1 star, but this was NOT worth the money and I will not be going back.

Clean and attractive dining room, but far too expensive for what you get. I had a (rather bland) cheese sandwich and tea, my check was over $21.

I went to the cafe next door before I planned on taking my little sister to get a sandwich and came out to my car with a huge sticker about illegal parking. The sticker was impossible to get off. Needless to say, we did not end up getting lunch at Snarfs. A kind sticky note would have sufficed. Or signs on the spots like most places do that state Snarfs parking only. Definitely won’t support this business any longer.

This place always slaps. The Farmer sandwich (turkey, egg salad, bacon) is just delicious. Nice patio too!

stopped in for the first time. i wanted a chicken sandwich. a 12” chicken sandwich was $16.50. thats right. $16.50. this is over-the-top ridiculous. opted for the 7”and i think that was $12.50. also ordered a chicken salad with rotisserie chicken for the wife. when i got home there was no rotisserie chicken. otherwise it was ok and appropriately priced (had i actually got chicken) at $12.50. my sandwich was good, but absolutely no better than a toasted chicken sandwich from subway. luckily this place has plenty of affluent traffic going by so it may do just fine.
