I had the steak hibachi at Yummy Japanese, and it was pretty good cooked well and flavorful. The real standout for me was their soup, which was absolutely delicious. It’s a solid, affordable spot for a quick lunch or dinner, with decent portion sizes and fast service. Would definitely go back!

This is the best hibachi takeout in Alpharetta. You can order for pick up directly on their website and the food is always hot when I pick up. The flavor is much better than other hibachi restaurants; it’s our go to for nights when we want to order food in.

I was impressed with their score but not impressed with the food! I have enjoyed the same type but better tasting food elsewhere for less cost! I don’t know if it was that I caught them just before they closed, but the taste and quality of my food did not match the pricing. I made two simple orders from their over head board that listed the dish and price. I was charged more than what was on the board and after adding vegetables to Scallop Fried Rice and paying extra, there was not an extra amount of vegetables. The dish itself was 3/4 bland rice that I could have cooked myself! Not even the traditional taste of fried rice! It tasted very lazy and thrown together. The only thing Fancy about the Salmon Roll was the price! I didn’t know that it should cost so much more to deep fry sushi. Maybe I’m just used to Atlanta prices and this is considered gourmet or exotic Asian food in Alpharetta. I hope that they do better when they’re not rushing to close/go home. (They’re hours must be to 10pm bcuz they all were out of there by 10:10).

Amazing Japanese food with incredible portions and an unbeatable price. The Benjo lunch might be some of the best value meals I’ve seen!

The menu is a little misleading because it says veggie fried rice and chicken fried rice so I asked for a side of fried rice, assuming it was going to be veggie . I asked the lady taking my order if it would just be veggie rice, and she said yes. Agree to disagree plain fried rice is still supposed to have fried egg in it. I was charged $8 for practically a side of white rice. It was very plain had nothing in it, except for a little bit of soy sauce.
Other than that Sushi was pretty good, if you’re looking for quick sushi. I somehow walked out paying $32 for a roll of sushi and fried rice… This place is definitely overpriced for what it has to offer

I got the hibachi dinner, asked for steamed rice instead of fried rice and they did that BUT they gave me what? Half a chicken breast? For 13$??? Like bruh. I paid 13$ for two days worth of rice and a small snack of chicken a baby wouldn’t even be full after eating. Food is delicious but portion is 0/10 of protein.

Overall good food for the price and huge portions. We went in and ordered take out and it was ready very quickly. We got the chicken bento box and chicken hibachi. We enjoyed both. Will be back in the future.

Food tastes good, but the portions of the protein need to be more. The person who took my order wasn’t really friendly and was on her phone.

Love this place, been going there since they opened, never disappointed, plenty of fish in their rolls. Always fresh

I ordered vegetable hibachi. I ordered a side of scallops. I paid 6$ for my side of scallops. It is sadly obvious the scallops are sliced thinner to create 2 scallops out of 1. I received 4 pieces of scallops. See photos. They take advantage with the scallops. I got 2 scallops for 6$ i use to get at least 2 more pieces equaling 3 scallops for 6$
